We used their design, floral, and day-of coordination services. The design service was amazing. They got to know us as a couple, got to know our vibe, and then created a tailored design plan that truly incorporated every element we wanted and some that we didn't even know were possible! They stayed within our budget and did not pressure us to spend more. We were able to rent all of our needed items from them and used them for signage. We also paid for the set-up and tear-down services so felt incredibly stress free with the design of the wedding day. The floral was wrapped up in the design process and was also effortless. They gave us a full plan of which florals would be used for our bouquets and arrangements. On the day-of the flowers were beautiful and just as described. The day-of coordination was icing on the cake. Our coordinator, Kelli, was present for all of our design/planning meetings so it felt like she knew our wedding when planning the schedule. From the outset, Travis and his team of event designers were responsive to our questions and took our interests, tastes, and goals for the wedding into consideration. UE worked within our budget to design and execute a truly outstanding event that felt personal, elegant, and seamless. A number of the vendors and countless guests have reached out to us with compliments for UE's exceptional service and design work. My partner and I planned the wedding from out of state, and therefore assigned a lot of responsibility to UE to manage not only their own design elements (incl. ceremony & reception decor, lighting, floral, linens, and numerous rentals) but also to oversee the "day-of" operations of eight other vendors. Throughout the planning process, Travis Newell's communication with us was prompt, clear, and courteous. He went above and beyond to ensure that the details we discussed were accounted for in revised event proposals and came prepared with questions and ideas to all of our conversations. As a little background, I work in sales and I have for several years now…read more I can't tell you how much I despise the slicked-hair salesmen routine when you can tell the guy will tell you anything just to get you to buy the guitar. On the opposite side of that, it's awesome when you find someone who has a true passion for what they are selling. The later is what you'll find at Uncle Ike's. I'm not sure who the name of the gentleman was who helped me (I think it might have been Kevin?), but he was an older guy but boy does he love guitars. I should briefly digress and say that I wrote to their email address online, and heard back from them *within an hour*. Talk about awesome customer service! As I was telling him a bit about what I was looking for, he armed me with a TON of knowledge about each guitar we looked at. He took me through the very basics of what features of the guitars differentiate the pricing, and then gave me a ton of background of the companies. His knowledge seemed endless. He knew where every guitar factory was, what kind of guitars come out of there, what era each guitar was popular in, and so on. He was completely content to talk to me for almost an hour going over everything. One of my favorite things was that he couldn't seem to keep his hands off the guitars! Every time he was talking about one, he would pull it down, jam out on it just a little bit while we were talking to give me an idea of the sound. He never once asked about my price range or anything, and seemed more interested in teaching me about guitars in general which was great. I could have been a well-informed buyer anywhere I went after I stopped into Uncle Ike's, but of course I wanted to take my business there. It's rare to find a great salesperson in most places, but certainly go to Uncle Ike's if you're interested in finding the right guitar. The staff there was awesome, and made me feel completely confident in my purchase. I love my new guitar! Now I just have to find a name for it...

Larry recently did music for my wedding and was fantastic. We contracted him for six hours to do…read morethe mic for our officiant, music before/during/after the outdoor ceremony, and then during our reception where he played a slideshow of photos we had supplied. He is a great communicator, did fantastic work, and had people on the dance floor from after our first dances until three full hours later into the night, and at no point was the dance floor clear during that time. He supplied an awesome Google Drive spreadsheet for us to fill in tons of information since we were coordinating from a few states away. One side note, and far from a ding to Larry, is that if you have him display a slide show, then make sure you have either a white wall or a screen to have it displayed upon. We completely forgot and our venue was all exposed wood grain walls, it looked fine, but could have been avoided on our part. While people were still in line for food the DJ started the Village People's YMCA song and we were asked to dance to it at our tables. Once the meal and toasts were over they began playing music again, but I believe they were getting paid by the number of songs they started. As people were dancing the song would stop in the middle of it and a new song would begin. Would not recommend this company for anything.
