Several emails went unanswered, he responded a bit better to text/phone calls. I even begged him to respond so I knew he was still on board with our wedding. Second, was told they would be setting up the day of the wedding at 8 am, they showed up at 1:30 pm. I called at 1030 am asking where they were and 30 mins later was told they would be there by 1 pm give or take. (The ceremony time was 330pm, meaning guest would be arriving by 3 pm.) Two hours to set up in 2 locations is not a lot of time. Third, come ceremony time, there was no background music played, the three requested songs to be played for the grandparents. parents, and wedding party was not played (all silent). Half of the brides song was played. During the ceremony there was burst of music for 3 seconds (that was not suppose to happen). His reasoning was they were having technical difficulties on 3 different laptops (which is so crazy because it has never happened to them before) but if I look on the bright side they got the bride's song to play via their cell phone due to their quick thinking. Well, IF they would have showed up at the original set up time they could have had all the bugs figured out. Fourth, he added in charges that was not included in the original paperwork. Such a horrible and disappointing experience with this DJ who claims they were one of the nations top DJs, twice, in the Modern Bride magazine. DO NOT USE!!

I gave them my playlist via excel spreadsheet and they adhered to the customized list very close (there were a few dj requests/plays but they read the crowd excellent). At one point during the reception, Adam let me know timewise our dinner music which had gone long due to a delay in the serving time, some of the dance songs wouldn't make the cut timewise as planned - I cut out about 6-8 tunes so we could go for the Must-Plays (i.e. Africa). Towards the final songs, he even offered to play longer (minimal if any charge) but our reception time was up - - he did sneak in healthy closing song to send our guests out happy. Price wasn't bad, for the value it was worth it. Apparently they do a mean light show , but we knew our guests wouldn't need anymore coaxing than a few drinks and good tunes to get dancing. As a bonus they helped set the tone with our you-call-it bridal party intro song (individualized songs per bridal party member request, an 8-10 second snippet), that was perfect. Excellent job R&T. Once the meal and toasts were over they began playing music again, but I believe they were getting paid by the number of songs they started.
