We love the new playground equipment! Needs more shade over the play structures, but the rest of the park and trails have good tree coverage. It's a great park in Jacksonville to visit when it's cooler outside.

We've lived here almost 3 years and never knew this was so close to our home. We rode our bikes here and then discovered the paved trail that winds through the woods to a canoe launch. Unfortunately, we couldn't get to it because the walkway to the launch was closed for renovations. There are also baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts and a pretty large playground.

Boardwalk is CLOSED. Disappointed to find the riverfront boardwalk is closed after walking so far to find it like this.

The riverfront boardwalk is closed. Disappointing to find this after a long walk from parking.

To call for a permit for softball field. The phone number on the fence is not working and the number 904 779-7462 just keep ringing. This set is very missed leading to the public. The city need to fix this issues ASAP.

I found this park thanks to Yelp :) The nature trail is all the way in the back past the soccer fields, past the baseball fields. You'll also pass the playground, and park near the tennis courts. There are about 10 fully shaded spots.... So that's a huge plus! The trail is paved about 90% of the way. Once you get over the bridges and boardwalk it splits left and right. It's a circle so it doesn't matter which way you go. BUT going to the left is quicker to get to the water than going to the right. But both lead to the water :). I brought my dog and he loved the trail tons of new smells for him! There are a lot if grasshopper on this trail! That is for sure! It took me about 45 minutes to do the whole trail and stay at the water for a few minutes. At the end of the boardwalk that takes you to the water is a metal boat slip. When I took my dog down there he kept hoping around- it was way to hot for his paws so be aware. All in all a great nature trail that is a hidden gem in Jacksonville :)

Sadly this may have been a nicer little park in the past, but clearly it needs some TLC. Took our…read morepuppy there Nov 4th and honestly we turned around and left after only a few minutes on the trail. It's become run down and appears that it's not being really cared for as much. Some trash around and on the start of the trail. Beware there were tons of mosquitos on the trail and a stray cat. Who knows how many more. We really have no desire to go back. Those pictures of the "lake" do Not Look anything near like that in person in a negative way sadly and I would probably barely call it a lake.

Losco Regional Park is a really nice park with a really nice walking path that goes around a lake…read more It also has a children's playground, a few soccer fields, a splash type water park, public restrooms, adequate parking and much more. I can't believe that this is my first time here as I am often in the area and seek out parks to walk and get some steps towards my minimum ten thousand steps a day minimum. But now that I have discovered Losco Regional Park, I will say that I will definitely return to this wonderful park. This park was also pretty popular on this particular Thursday morning. There were plenty of people enjoying the park. Losco Regional Park is truly a great park and I definitely recommend a visit here. I will also give Losco Regional Park an overall rating of five stars. Go check Losco Regional Park out for yourself.
