The staff is really friendly here, and much more knowledgeable than the young kids that work at chain stores like PetSmart and Petco. They stock a lot of specialty products that you can't find anywhere else. I shop for my dogs and cats, and always pick up a special treat at the gourmet bakery here. They also have tons of fish and aquarium stuff if you're into that. It's not always cheaper than the big-box pet stores or grocery store, but they do have coupons and specials on their website.

My wife and I came in to check out there aquatic section and boy howdy was this place a wreck. Tank after tank had lethargic fish, with the majority also having dead fish thrown into the mix as well. All the displays were dirty, and even the products on the shelves had layers of dust. By far the worst part was when I brought my wife over to see the hissing cockroaches. It wasn't so much a tank of hissing cockroaches, so much as a tank of hissing cockroach PARTS. On top of that the entire bedding was alive with some kind of writhing, maggot looking worms, and there even seemed to be a giant black window spider ticked away in the back corner. I give this location a rating of sad and embarrassing.

I was impressed but also saddened on the quantity of dogs available for adoption. I love how if you were looking for a lap buddy, protector or walking buddy you could find a friend here. Just for the record, my new walking buddy is family friendly and house trained.

Everything escalated to the point that my dogs could not be left alone in my place as they would hurt each other. Four broken crates and damaged doors later, I came here. They said that no one is allowed to bring a dog in as they won't accept them. I tell them the bottom line is I cannot ensure for either of them safety. I was told the intake process can take months, and to call the helpline. So then I asked who is on the helpline. No one, I was told. I can leave a voicemail. Shelters are the last resort and with empty kennels, I was turned away despite a desperate, violent situation. And please "business manager" do not comment on my review. It is so clear none of you care about the community and you are paid to keep up a facade. It is manipulative and disgusting how you are dismissing real concerns that cause animals and people to suffer for an organization which could easily take the feedback to improve instead.
