Not. Worth. The. Money.
While it's a nice place (which you would expect with the price of the restaurant) and the service is prompt, it wasn't a very enjoyable experience.
Immediately we were asked if we'd like some alcohol. Alright, that's normal for the area. And then we were told not to take one brand, but instead choose a pricier brand. They didn't try to hide their annoyance when we didn't choose their most expensive products.
In fact during the entire evening, the servers glowered at us from the corner. Awesome.
The food was nothing special. I think their perogies were handmade, but that homemade taste you'd expect didn't come through. That being said, generally speaking the food was of good quality and well prepared.
But while this place may be authentic and you may get your polish fix, you won't leave with any warm or fuzzy feelings of nostalgia. read more
