Very serene and calming with so many trees and unique plants in the courtyard, feels like walking through a garden. The LVT floors, recessed lighting, and stainless steel appliances give it a modern touch, while still preserving some level of old world charm. The location is unbeatable: within walking distance to Whole Foods, Lunardi's, Starbucks, Philz, and lots of other stuff. Super easy access to highways (17 & 85), while still being tucked in enough that you don't hear or see them. The management staff is also really helpful and attentive. While signing the lease, they walked through all the terms and answered all my questions, leaving no room for ambiguity. Rex even allowed me to ship a couple of small packages to my new place a few days before I moved in and held on to them in the office until I arrived. This had a few basic essentials, like a pan and tea kettle, which improved my quality of life while I waited for the rest of my stuff to arrive from this cross-country move. As I moved in, I did a walkthrough and made a note of all the things that needed minor repairs (such as bent window screens and misaligned cabinetry). All of these concerns were addressed to my satisfaction within a couple of days!

The entire process was smooth - quick and painless. The Elem3nts team was on time, professional, and left the house just as it was after they were finished. They're very experienced and knowledgeable about HERS testing. Communication around scheduling was excellent, and one rebate has already been received and the other is on its way. The only thing about the lower units is that it is close to Hwy 17, so at night it can get a bit noisy, but you have double windows on that side and you get used to it. We enjoyed our stay at LG Oaks. It is close to Vasona Park, we took our kids to go biking there and Los Gatos has great public schools. It is very close to Fisher Middle. My kid walked to school. The neighbors are nice folks. Our kids are sad that we had to leave Los Gatos. The only reason for moving was that we were looking for 3 bedroom units, and LG Oaks has 2 bedrooms only. If they had 3 bedroom units, we would have stayed there.

I was also going through a documented financial hardship at the time, which I communicated clearly. No exception or goodwill gesture was offered. I would caution anyone applying here to get every policy detail in writing - verbal assurances from staff may not be honored.

Do yourself a favor and find another place. And maybe help me get out of this hell hole. Also, if the pictures load.... Deep cleaning.... There was a matted hair coat under the dryer and the baseboards.... Gross. 15 unrecognized devices on my router. Had to get two router replacements, and then a switch to ATT internet and same thing. Someone actually came in or reached in from the window to unplug my router. Oh lastly when I was hacked at my old townhouse down the street... the names of the residents here were showing up on my keyboard suggestions.... Do the math. I'm sick of finding the patterns but I'm still alive. No thanks to maintenance. Addendum is needed on the letter written which had false information. I have to leave my fan and an extra fan in the bathroom to keep moisture levels low. There's a constant smell from the bathroom but their team fails to smell it nor provide a proper mold test. There are dips in the ceiling and dips on the floor from clear moisture issues on their end. I spend hours a day cleaning and well versed in moisture maintenance to decrease mold, proper ventilation and cleanliness. I'm a Registered Dietitian that can run a hospital kitchen and homemaker for over 20 years. Oh and I think their associate lives above my apartment doing reconnaissance. So obvious and very intrusive. I know more than you think owners. I give up trying to communicate with these people.

And of course, the location is amazing -- walking distance to Campbell downtown and the Pruneyard and the Los Gatos trail. It's an amazing place to live! :)
