Ive been living at Rincon Green for ~6 months. Quick shout out to the Leasing Manager I worked with over a few weeks to get into the right apartment (Cary Mayo). He was super friendly, transparent and candid through the entire process- even made move in day a little easier. Actually just saw a picture of the units on the yelp page and they look pretty representative. The gym is clean and not packed even during peak hours which is nice. Haven't had any issues with appliances or paying rent. One thing I'd like to figure out is if they take BILT credit card for rent payments but I think last I checked the leasing office said no. read more

I've been living at Rincon Green for almost a year now, and honestly, it's been the best living situation I've had since moving to SF. The location is hard to beat--right by the water on the Embarcadero and close to a lot of offices. If you work in the area, it's a game-changer for convenience. But what really sets this place apart isn't just the location (which is already amazing) but the management. Cary, in particular, has been a pleasure to work with. From my very first phone call inquiring about the apartments to my actual move-in day, Cary made the whole process so smooth and easy. he really went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, and I can't thank him enough for that! I lived at Rincon Green for 2.5 years. I truly enjoyed the friendly concierges (shoutout to Koda!) that helped with any questions and packages I had and the responsive leasing staff. The apartment felt very safe with the presence of the 24/7 concierge and security during late hours. It made it very convenient to retrieve packages at any hour and I never had to worry about accidentally locking myself at night. Maintenance at the apartment is also super friendly and fast. They close service requests within 1-2 days and are working very quickly. The 24hr gym at the apartment is very satisfactory for casual gym goers or for rainy days when you don't want to head out for the gym. It's never too crowded as there's a room for yoga/stretching/pilates and a weight room with enough equipment to get a good workout in. The rooftop is also nice to hangout at to look at stars at night or enjoy some sky views if it's a nice day since they have a bunch of patio chairs and tables set up there. Overall, I throughly enjoyed my stay at Rincon Green and will miss the staff and views at the apartment and sad to be leaving! read more

Rincon Green, relative to their rental price points, brought the best value in Rincon Hill especially due to its proximity to lots of key areas (Bay Bridge/East Bay, Ferry Building, North Beach, South Park, Mission Bay, and even the Presidio), safety measures (gated building), and amenities (gym, hot tub, sun deck, ample parking). The leasing office was always very helpful, the front door staff were friendly & attentive, and the community was respectful. I've stayed at Rincon Green for the past year, and it's hands-down the best choice I made when moving to SF. This is one of the highest rated apartment properties in the area, and I can attest to all the amazing reviews here and on Google. When I initially scouted the property, I had the following key factors in mind: 1) Safety and security of the building, 2) proximity to work and attractions, and 3) reputation and responsiveness of the management company/staff. Rincon Green exceeded in all three. Rincon Green was the only property I researched that had a gated front entrance and park space, which is great for privacy and relaxation. This also naturally doubles as a deterrent for strangers and passerby's. The property is always well-managed, clean, and in running order. I've never once felt unsafe, lost a package, or run into any unpleasant surprises. Rincon Hill is located right next to a slew of company offices, the financial district, Chinatown, the Embarcadero, and much more. I lucked out with my office being a 15 minute walk away, and could easily run along the Embarcadero after work or on the weekends. While the Bay bridge is right outside my unit, I've never had any noise issues as the walls/windows are very well insulated. Last but certainly not least, Rincon Green has an outstanding management team. I worked with Alexandria (Allie) and Roy when signing my lease, and they were extremely patient answering all my questions, and making sure my moving experience was as smooth as possible. James at the front desk is just amazing and has on numerous occasions gone above and beyond to help me; I always look forward to stopping by to catch up. Now that I'm moving away from SF, I'll absolutely miss everything Rincon Green has to offer, and it's a bittersweet goodbye to the amazing people that work here. read more

My partner and I have lived in Rincon Green since the summer of 2018 and only decided to move out in order to take care of our parents on the East Coast during the pandemic. Our favorite amenities: (1) apartment repairs provided as needed (I had a large chip in the stovetop and it was replaced with a new top) (2) friendly + considerate staff (I've had positive experiences with Thermon, Roy, Laila, and Janae) (3) rooftop jacuzzi (I can't count how many times my partner and I felt were able to relax after a long workday) (4) super central location in downtown SF (walking distance from work, waterside, and many restaurants and landmarks) (5) natural light in the apartment (we were on the left side on top where sunlight was maximized, highly recommended) (6) secure package deliveries (seamless, have never lost a package) (7) Webpass support (some of the fastest speeds available) (8) free tea and coffee by the front desk --- No place is perfect of course but Rincon Green came pretty close. There were only a few times where I have felt some improvements could be made and they were all minor: (1) sometimes the fire alarm tests would wake us up and stress us out (2) sometimes we'd catch people smoking on the rooftop (3) compost bags would sometimes run out and not be replaced for a while --- Overall, I'm grateful I was able to call this place home for ~2 years. I have lived in Rincon Green for four years. The location of the apartment is great. So close to Ferry building and farmers market. There are great amenities as well. First off, I'd like to start by saying that Rincon Green is the best living situation I've experienced since I lived in SF. I have moved around 5 times in SF, hoping to find something that checked off all the boxes, which are mainly safety, a sense of community, and cleanliness for me. However, Rincon Green made what would have been considered a stressful situation as seamless of an experience as possible. Staying at Rincon Green is the best decision I made since moving to San Francisco. The location is perfect for anyone working in Financial District, all the companies are within walking distance, tons of good coffee shops to grab a morning cappuccino and pastries, grocery store is around the corner as well, making everyday life easy. In the summer time, I will always take a walk to Pier 14 along the Rincon Park after work, the sunset is beautiful at waterfront. The management team and the leasing office are amazing too; Laila, Roy, and Alexandria are very attentive and responsive, the reception desk is always there, gate, doors and elevators are all keyed, keeping the building safe. Packages are well organized, I order a lot of deliveries and packages online, never had an issue. The building itself is good too. Although it is close to the bridge, I never heard any noises and it is quite quiet inside the building. Other than the lounge inside the building, there is also a gated common park in front of the building, it is very well maintained and is an ideal place to chill and relax. I really enjoy my experience living in Rincon Green and will recommend to anyone who is looking for an apartment in FiDi area. read more

We've just signed our FOURTH lease at Rincon Green and if it's not convincing enough to show how much we LOVE living here I don't know what is! :) Everything from handling package deliveries to apartment maintenance to parking (and gym, grills etc) is taken care of regularly and thoroughly. I don't remember a time when our question or service request was not answered/completed within 24 hours. I truly agree with other reviewers who said that management team at Rincon Green is top notch! The other thing that I especially appreciate about living here is the location! It's honestly the best for many reasons: if I'm in the mood for walking, sunny Embarcadero is two short blocks away; need to go somewhere in the city - MUNI for the rescue; and for road trip adventures - a highway exit is just a block up! (The downside of proximity to a highway though is a traffic jam from ~3pm to 7pm, but now when we're aware of it, we plan accordingly and don't consider it as a con). Oh yeah, and the last but very important thing to mention -- in my opinion, the price/value here is off the charts! So I don't know what could make us to leave Rincon Green anytime soon :) read more

I have lived in Rincon Green from 2/2017 - 9/2020 (the only reason I am currently leaving is that my partner got a new job out of town and we are relocating). I started in an executive studio and recently moved to a first-floor bedroom with a patio. Even though some of the units are small - they are laid out great and you really get good storage even in a small space. Plus - in SF you can't beat an in-unit washer and dryer plus dishwasher. Rincon Green is a great place to live - while the prices are on the higher side - you get what you pay for in terms of management (in a good way). The maintenance is super responsive (never more than 1 day to get a quick fix - unless it's the weekend then they come on Monday - they sometimes come within the hour of you putting in the request. I even had a brand new washer when ours broke the same day of putting in the request). The front desk is super friendly and get to know every single resident. The apartment is super secure and quiet and the amenities are amazing. Even as things have been in flux with COVID restrictions they have been super on top of getting amenities open with proper health protocols in place as soon as the city has allowed. It's a great location in the heart of SOMA - 5 minute walk to the bay bridge, 10 minute walk to bart / muni, 15 minutes to the ferry building, 20 min to union square and north beach. I spent 99% of my time here without a car and it was easy to get everything you needed. read more

I stayed in Rincon green for 2.5 years and really enjoyed my apartment here. I used to live in an executive studio. Rincon Green offered various useful services like package concierge and amenities like gym, regular yoga/HIIT instructors and a jacuzzi on the roof. They were always quick to resolve any maintenance tickets. The front desk concierges were helpful and friendly. A few times, I even used the front desk to get printouts! They have a couple of parking spots for guests/visitors. Parking for a couple of hrs was free but overnight parking was like 30$. The locality is quite safe. The common area with vending machines is quite cool to study or work. The lockers for packages were quite convenient too. The only reason why I didn't continue living here was the expense. While they did not hike the price much in the first year, after the second year the rent spiked.The prices are quite typical for the neighborhood and high rises around....so its not bad at all for what it has to offer! read more

I've lived at Rincon Green for the past year and I had to write to say that this is the best apartment building I've lived in in SF (and I've lived in two others). The only reason I'm moving out is because I'm moving across the country, but my great experience this past year really boils down to three primary things: the staff, the location, and the amenities. I have to say that hands down the best part of this property is the staff. The building is staffed 24/7 with the friendliest and most helpful folks you could ask for. Not only were James and Koda (and others as well) incredibly helpful at the front desk when it came to logistics of visitors, food/package delivery, or any other requests, we built up a great rapport and I actively look forward to seeing them each day. On top of that, the leasing agents (especially Alexandria (Allie) and Roy) made the leasing/move-in process seamless and were always friendly faces in the lobby as well. Making an apartment feel like a home isn't always easy, but if you're looking for a place that's well managed and where you're constantly greeted by smiles and friendly faces, this is the right place. On top of that, it's impossible to beat this location. What really drew me into Rincon Green was the open park space at the front of the building as well as the gating around the property that gave me a real sense of security and privacy, a little oasis, especially in this part of the city. It's also incredibly close to several modes of transportation which makes it easy to get just about anywhere in the city. With that, being close to the Financial District, the Ferry Building, and the Embarcadero made for some great views and runs, and easy access to good eats. Despite its proximity to the Bay Bridge, I haven't had any issues with noise even when sitting on my balcony. That leads well into my last point was that it's hard to beat the amenities at Rincon. Having a balcony was an awesome way to get some fresh air and sun while relaxing and looking over the beautiful courtyard. The gym is also fully stocked, and I actually gave up my gym membership in favor of the gym here because it had more than everything I needed. On top of that, I attended a free yoga session here and there which was always a great perk. I've also hosted several events from the roof deck (hot tub sessions, family barbecues, etc.) and everyone that's come over has loved the views of the city. On top of all of that, the bike storage and package amenities are great and just made living here a non-hassle. For all that and more, the price was incredibly affordable especially compared to other apartment buildings in the area. While I am moving away from San Francisco, I would highly recommend Rincon to anyone looking to live in the area for all the reasons above and more. This place has been our lovely oasis and highly recommend for anyone. For those interested, here are some of my thoughts regarding this complex: - Concierge personnel are extremely reliable and friendly. - Love how secure the complex is. - The package delivery system is reliable and organized. - The Doordash delivery lockers they implemented were really nice, especially during the pandemic. - The rooftop is a great hangout spot. - Any service repairs we needed had a quick turnaround. - Management was great with communication on any updates, especially during the pandemic. - Management was flexible when discussing our final move out date. Rincon Green is tied for the best-managed apartment building I've ever lived in. As somebody who's been reliably itinerant for the past twenty years, whether because of college, graduate school, study and work abroad, a relationship ending or now a pandemic, that's saying something. Truly some nice, competent folks running this place. Value for the money, by San Francisco standards anyway, is not bad. These are mid-to-high-end apartments. The units feature solid appliances, decent materials and attention to detail. Resident programming is impressive. The gym is fine, if maybe better in the weightlifting than in the cardio department. In general, the complex is kept very clean. I found the building staff with whom I interacted to be kind, considerate and helpful. Door-to-door package delivery during the pandemic has been legendary, and email updates on point. Living at Rincon Green can make a lot of sense, thanks in no small part to the people who keep it going. read more

Hands down one of the best buildings in San Francisco! We really loved living here due to 3 main reasons: 1) The building staff! Everyone is super friendly and the service is top notch. As an example, we requested maintenance because our bathroom lights turned purple and needed to be replaced. The staff replaced not just that light but also checked the lifespan of other lights and also helped replace the kitchen lights as they looked faint to him as well, all within 2 hours of filing the request! 2) The location is awesome, with easy access to and from the Bay Bridge by car! Also it is within a 4 minute walk from all the Tech companies with tons of neighborhood patrols and security. 3) The actual building is really nice! The units have really thick walls and have both a private park and interior courtyard along with awesome standard amenities like a gym, rooftop deck and jacuzzi. Could not recommend more! read more

Best apartment my significant other and I have lived in in the last six years. At a high-level, Rincon Green is in an amazing location close to FiDi offices and the Embarcadero and has the best building management across the 3 different apartment buildings we've lived in so far (two of which are similar luxury leasing properties in the SoMa area). This place is also one of the most reasonably priced leasing properties in the area, despite having way better service based on anecdotes from neighbors. Location is self-explanatory, but I cannot stress just how awesome the staff and management has been in the three years we've lived at the Rincon Green. Maintenance requests are usually handled within 24-48 hours. There is someone at reception at all times and packages get stored in an easily accessible storage locker in the basement. The staff is super friendly and runs/participates in on-site fitness classes that are complimentary. They are very responsive whenever we have questions, either about lease renewals or other policies. In addition to the awesome staff, the building itself is just plain nice. We have a unit facing the inner courtyard which is very quiet. You can hear light rumbling of the highway if your windows are completely open, but once they're closed, you don't hear anything. The walls are thick and we've never heard our neighbors the entire time we've lived here. Amenities are nice and include a hot tub/bbq area on the roof, full gym, laundry locker, and vending machines among others. The building is lighter on other amenities (pool, large quiet public areas - though there's a small open area next to the gym where we've seen people working), but we weren't looking to pay way more just for those amenities. Management has also done a great job of keeping residents informed and frequently disinfecting public areas during the COVID-19 shelter-in-place. Policies have been implemented to minimize contact with staff and other residents, but package delivery and getting takeout is still seamless. Long story short, we have loved building a life at the Rincon Green and would recommend it as one of the best leasing experiences in the area with zero hesitation. read more

I have been at Rincon Green for more than a year after living around the city for more than six. I experienced several building managements before moving to the financial district. I can only say good things about the way things are handled at Rincon Green. The place is very well kept and the hallways always cleaned properly. Repairs requests are handled quickly which has not been the case in my former experiences. The kitchen/bathroom cabinets and overall construction is high quality. The walls are made of concrete - you will never hear any street noises nor will you ever hear your neighbors. You can enjoy a peaceful uninterrupted sleep in the middle of the chaotic downtown. The package situation is often a tedious one, but the concierge has been able to keep up with the constant influx while keeping everything categorized and organized. On top of that, the Luxor-like lockers make the pick up of Amazon packages easy. The staff is polite and helpful. It feels like people here are taking their work seriously. Regarding the amenities, this is one of those rare building that allowed the construction of a hot tub on the roof. This comes with great views of the bridge and a large patio with functional BBQs and tables. The building has a fairly large Gym area which includes the usual pieces of fitness equipment and a separate yoga/stretching room. Free fitness classes are even available on a weekly basis. Finally, the parking has plenty room and comes with a reasonable price tag for the location. Overall, this is a great place to live! My experience has been great thus far. read more

Rincon Green is definitely a hidden gem in the East Cut neighborhood. I've stayed at this apartment for more than four years and thoroughly enjoyed it. Compared to other apartments in the same area, this apartment strikes a great balance in terms of location, price, amenities, and is all around really comfortable. As someone who has lived in many different apartments over the years, I do really appreciate the rental prices being stable as being forced to move due to cost is always a hassle. I really appreciate how well the sound insulation is in the apartment as I'm hardly ever disturbed by noises and despite the apartment being just beside the highway. The gym is really spacious and well equipped as well, it's never too crowded, and certainly have helped me survive the pandemic. I barely had any negative experiences all the while staying here and that really makes living here pretty relaxing and I always recommended the apartment to people looking to stay around the area. read more

5/17 Update: After the end of the initial lease, I renewed contingent upon switching to a different unit. I then moved from a 450 sf studio on the ground floor to a 500 sf exec studio on the top floor for a negligible increase in price. I remained in that unit for over a year, extending my lease there, and only moved out when I took a job out of town. If you read my initial review, many of those complaints were specific to my unit and location. Once I moved, I was MUCH more satisfied. The staff is great for the most part (and were accommodating with move out and ending my lease slightly early for the new job), the concrete construction is fantastic, and, now that all the surrounding construction is done, it really is a great location. I love Rincon Green! A relatively affordable option if you still want to live in the ever-convenient Rincon Hill area. Awesome view of the Bay Bridge from the street. :) The leasing process is super easy -- just stalk the online leasing website until you find cheap availability, and they're reasonably flexible with the move-in date. For the apartment size I got, I've seen the price range from $3000 to $3800 within the same month. The pricing changes everyday based on supply and demand in SF, and it doesn't always make sense! Sometimes 1 bedroom + study and 1 bedrooms will be cheaper than studios, so just keep your eyes peeled. You can lease directly online, but after that any amendments will have to be on paper. The leasing office people are extremely nice and helpful. I've seen some complaints about the construction noise on here, but if you choose an *ODD-NUMBERED ROOM*, you will face the little courtyard inside instead of the roads, plus you'll get a little balcony! I honestly have not been able to hear a thing from my neighbors, the hall, or outside! My room itself looks extremely new. I have a 600+ sqft 1 bedroom + study, and we converted the study into a second bedroom with a full size bed and a wardrobe. The kitchen area, living room, and bathroom are huge, but wish the water pressure could be a little stronger. That's the problem with low-flow water systems, I guess. The amenities are awesome -- everyone seems to know about the hot tub and grill on the roof, but there really doesn't seem to be much competition to use it. The gym is similarly available, and they have quite a range of machines. Unfortunately the water pressure is super low because the building is "green," I think. If I really wanted to be picky, I wish pets were allowed and there were more food options, but hopefully that'll improve as all the new apartment complexes go up! read more

I was happy to call Rincon Green my home for almost 6 years. It was the first rental place in my life where I stayed for so long, felt settled and very comfortable. When I used to pass by RH on a transbay bus, I look at the building and Emerald park from a window and dreamed that I would move in here one day. I knew some people from work who lived at Rincon Green and loved it. We moved to our first unit in 2016, it was facing the park and had a great view. When Covid started, it was hard to stay there all day during the lock down and full WFH. RH leasing office helped us move to a bigger apartment, and the whole switch process was very smooth. I was concerned at first that the second unit was very close to the Bay bridge. And yeah, I could hear buzzing from the road, but really quickly stopped noticing it. This unit was actually quieter than the first one, never heard a sound from neighbors and felt more private. I took a lot of picture of beautiful sunset over twin peaks. Throughout these years RH amazing maintenance team has solved a ton of fix requests for us. Twice our unit was flooded, and they took care of everything very fast. I want to give special thanks to Jairell and Andrew who are superb professionals. One thing I liked the most at RH was that it is very well organized: package delivery, food delivery, maintenance requests, lease renewal etc. It was all easy, clear and fast. I lived at Rincon Green in a 7th floor Executive Studio, having moved to the area after previously living in the Russian Hill neighborhood of SF. I had originally chosen Rincon Green because I liked how close it was to work, that the gym was well-furnished and because the building was of recent construction. I came to appreciate the building even more because of the friendliness of the staff (both front deck and leasing managers), how well they handled package deliveries, and the promptness of maintenance when required (rare). I had no issues with the appliances-- they all worked as expected. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet my apartment was, given the proximity of the building to the Bay Bridge. My boyfriend and I lived at Rincon Green from 2018-19, and we loved our stay there. For those NYC transplants in SF, living in the Rincon Green was a similar experience to living in a doorman building in NYC -- updated apartments with new modern appliances, in-building gym that is never packed, what felt like 24/7 maintenance, and a friendly front desk that was always manned (thus providing additional security). SF is not as safe as Manhattan, but I felt very secure at the Rincon Green, partly thanks to the park in the front. Even though it's public, it looks like it's part of the building so non-residents rarely go in. In terms of the apartment itself, we lived in a 1 BR + Den. The den served as both an office area (had a desk in there) and a walk-in closet (we bought 3 PAX wardrobes from Ikea to install). There's decent water pressure and the electric stove is easy to clean. We never had any noise problems from neighbors, and we loved facing the inner courtyard. Our apartment came with a deck, which we rarely sat out on but used for all our plants. There's a fountain in the courtyard that you can hear if you have your windows open... it's kinda zen. We also wanted to give a big shout-out to Janae and the leasing team who were super helpful and considerate!!! From the beginning to the end, they were a pleasure to work with. It was very easy to make an appointment to see Janae and check out the property. We signed a lease that day, moved in without any troubles, and moving out was painless too. I've lived in 4 rental properties in CA over the last 2 years where there were always issues with moving out.... Rincon Green was the only building where I didn't have an issue. One important distinction is that while NYC has broker fees, CA has move-out fees (like cleaning). You won't get your full security deposit back, but it's still cheaper than paying 1 months rent for a broker. I thought the cleaning fees charged by Rincon Green post move-out were very reasonable. If you're looking for something close to the Financial District, I highly recommend this building. Ask for Janae!! She'll take wonderful care of you. Unsure why Rincon Green has so many positive reviews. After living here for a while it's safe to say that I do not like the management as I truly believe that they are VERY unprofessional. After my car got broken into on the apartment perimeters INSIDE the parking garage, I spoke to the front desk in which I was met with the rude front desk saying they could not do anything for me and did not take blame as to why my car was broken into in a gated garage. What I had found out was that the garage door had been broken for a while and they hadn't had time to fix it. Well if it's risking their customers safety and overall well-being, then why don't you fix it ASAP??They told me they'd speak to the building manager for me. Alas, I never got back or any messages from the building manager. I paid $500 for the broken window myself. Another situation was when I had my package delivered to me. The package contained a $200 time in which I never retrieved. I believe that my package was lost somewhere and that the building mishandled my package. read more

Rincon Green has been home for the past 3 years. We unfortunately have to say goodbye because we are leaving California, but we wanted to share our wonderful experience. We initially chose this property mainly because it provided the best value in the area for luxury apartments (and it's not even close), but we did not expect too much else. We have since been blown away by the staff, amenities and service. Here are some of the highlights: - The leasing office are very professional and accommodating. We had some special request on each of our leases since our future plans were a bit unknown, and they always worked with us around those. Special thanks to Allison, Laila and Janae. - The building had a top notch response to COVID. Common areas and elevator access were limited. Management also provided regular updates to the residents. - The service team is A+. Service requests are handled really promptly and they are really friendly. - Free fresh Peet's coffee every morning! - Ton of sunlight in the apartments! - The gym is really well stocked with large selection of cardio and weight machines. It never gets too busy either. There are additionally multiple group glasses offered for free! - The apartments are really quiet since the structure is concrete. We normally watch movies at pretty high volumes with a large subwoofer, and it doesn't travel to the neighbours. We will for sure be returning if we move back to California. I lived here for two and a half years, in two different units (I wanted to upgrade after my first year). I always recommend it to my friends and hope to move back one day. The best thing about this place? The team. Sure it's a nice building (great gym, Zipcars, Laundry Lockers, hot tub, roof-deck, etc.) but you can see that in the pictures. The people managing a building, however, can make or break the experience. These guys blow it out of the water. Every time I've talked to Laila (the property manager) or anyone from the leasing office (Allie, Janae and others), I've walked away with a smile on my face. Even when I was finally moving out, mid-lease, they did their best to make my experience as painless as possible. As far as maintenance goes, I honestly can't remember a single time I submitted a request and had it take more than 24 hours, not once. 10/10 experience. read more

Beware of living in this community. - You will live next to the highway - noisy, pollutant, etc - The building makes a ton of noize between the hours of 4am - 6am moving multiple garbage dumpsters in and out of their garage multiple times a week. the noize woke us up every morning during the week - they contract with a landscaping service that uses gas powered leaf blowers and mowers. the noise and carbon monoxide pollution are unbearable. Every Wednesday they are polluting the grounds right next to a children's playground. And their concierge on duty every Wednesday would not even speak to us about requesting that the landscaping service use more eco friendly equipment around small children. Think about that, they pay a service to pollute and make noize and dont care about their residents or their children. - and the people who work the front desk are incredibly rude and unhelpful For the money there are far better buildings in the area to consider. I'm really glad to have found Rincon Green and called it home when I first moved to SF a year ago. It's the only reasonably-priced luxury apartments in the city. I feel very safe and welcomed throughout my time here. Everything is well maintained, clean and front desk/leasing agents have been very friendly and professional - they always respond to my questions quickly and thoroughly. The facilities here are top notch, especially the soundproof walls are impressive. You just need to get a tour to understand how everything is well designed for comfort (air filtration, satisfying water temperature and no delay in hot water at all, nice jacuzzi on rooftop with a skyline view, easy parking, nice little park with a view over bay bridge, and 1GB WiFi speed in public areas etc) I would definitely consider rincon green again if I'm ever moving back to SF! read more

We rented a two-bed apartment at Rincon Green for nearly 2 years and we loved every minute of our stay here! The staff here is friendly and competent. From Andrew in maintenance, Thurman at the lobby, Roy and Janae at the leasing office, we always had a pleasant experience dealing with the staff at the building. They take excellent care of the property and the tenants within. Whenever we put in a maintenance request (ie. light bulb out, clogged drain), Andrew shows up almost instantly to take care of it! The location is super convenient. With grocery stores, tech companies, pharmacies, medical offices, and the Embarcadero just a quick 5-10 minute walk away, the location is absolutely incredible and convenient. We've hardly had to walk more than 10-15 minutes to run errands. The gym is great. Prior to city-imposed COVID-19 restrictions, we used the gym often and there was always plenty of space to work out and all the equipment was easily accessible. The rooftop is great. Lots of seating area, pretty views, and very open spaces make it fun to spend an occasional evening or afternoon on. Great place to get an early morning "outdoor" workout in. My wife and I have lived at Rincon Green since 2016. It has been a great experience and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place to live in SF. The facilities are very clean and the amenities are top notch. When we first moved in the carpet was a little worn and they went ahead and replaced the whole thing. The staff has always been friendly and responsive to any questions or requests. The maintenance staff has always responded within a day after the request and is very accommodating. We had a washer break about a year into our lease and they replaced within a few hours no questions asked. The apartment has been especially flexible about our lease and moving out. I've lived in SF since 2012 and I wish I had known about this place sooner. I'd highly recommend this facility to someone new to SF who is not yet prepared to handle the high deposits and the competitiveness of finding a unit on craigslist. read more

This is the best place I've ever lived. Rincon Green is the first amenity building with onsite management/maintenance that I've lived in. I'm moving out in a few weeks due to a relocation and will definitely update my review after I experience the move out process.  The staff are all friendly and efficient. The front desk knows residents by name. Common areas are kept clean (maintenance staff vacuum every hallway daily). The walls are concrete so I rarely hear my neighbors and -the big winner - absolutely no smoking allowed inside or out on balconies!  The property manager, Laila, is really nice as is Janae in the leasing office. Laila was very communicative to residents throughout covid-19 about ways the building was handling social distancing and other aspects. They shut down the gym right away, only allowed one person in the elevator at a time and required everyone to wear masks. I'm so thankful for the building doing what they did. I had to delay my move a few months due to life coming to a standstill and Laila let me continue on a month-to-month basis while the dust settled. Thank you Laila! There's a quiet gated green park out front which is always nice to walk through on my way in and the roof top has tons of seating and a hot tub. I thought the gym had everything I needed and was well kept with typical maintenance of machines needed from time to time. I never had any issues with my kitchen appliances or washer/dryer. Maintenance is super prompt if any issues pop up.  My only wish is that the windows had screens on them lol. I hope I can find a building run this well in my new city. read more

I was a resident of Rincon Green for 5 years and found it to be a wonderful, peaceful, well-run home throughout. The highlights of living in Rincon Green for me were: * Walking through the greenery of the atrium and entrance brightened my mornings leaving for work and evenings returning home. * My unit had a lot of outdoor light and a view of the bay (including getting to see cargo ships come and go and the sun rise over the bay). I had a studio that was laid out so well that it felt like there were multiple areas among the large main room, the kitchen, and the interior hallway. * The building was quiet and felt peaceful. The construction of the building is such that I never heard my neighbors (adjacent or above). The building has filtered air circulation from the outside that kept units from ever feeling stuffy (something that I had felt in other large apartment buildings). The common areas also felt peaceful. * Rincon Green is well run. The staff were always on top of their roles and also friendly. Repairs were effortless: submit an electronic ticket and the issue is resolved the next day. The building is always clean (they clean the common areas daily). * I appreciated the amenities, especially the parking (and in a garage with plenty of space to maneuver), gym (with weights, treadmills, and room for mats), and the secure package deliveries (they accept packages 24x7, put them into per-package lockers, and notify you via email). The building has fast, reliable, and inexpensive internet via Google Webpass. * The location gave me easy access to the Saturday morning Ferry Building's Farmers Market (terrific fruit, vegetables, and breakfast), made South Bay a quick drive away, and made East Bay a quick drive or BART ride away. read more

My wife and I have lived in one of the executive studios here at Rincon Green for about 9 months now. This building really is perfect, and we've had no troubles at all living here. The landscaping and the park out front are beautiful. The apartments are fairly spacious, the kitchens fully equipped, closets and storage are pretty well sized as well. Maintenance is responsive and fixes complaints in less than 24 hours usually. We've never had issues with elevators being out of service. We've never had issues with missed mail or packages. The security and front desk folks are so helpful with any concerns. Management is amazing and have been so flexible in helping us out with early lease termination as we prepare to move out of the country. We're really glad we chose to live here!
