When scrolling through the options this caught my eye as I am a big fan of low-intervention (aka natural) wines and Al Sur carries some Spanish wines I've enjoyed here in the states (shout-out to Golden Hour Wine in Orlando!). The shop is on Elvira Street and surrounded by small Middle Eastern restaurants. We loved the walk to the shop. Once there, Jessica greeted us and we sat at a large communal table to start our tasting experience. Jessica was a WONDERFUL host and the wine and bites we tried were some of our favorites on our entire trip. This tasting was a true highlight and I'd HIGHLY recommend it. They also have other great tasting experiences with various types of local food. One thing you must get if you're there is their locally-sourced butter. This butter was unlike anything I've ever tried before. It almost tasted of yogurt. I wish we would have been able to bring some home to the States, but while we were there we made sure to have plenty of it! Guillermo was at the counter and also helped us with some purchases of olive oil and pastries after the tasting. Overall, this is a spot that cannot be missed on your next Andalucian trip.
