As a service business they weren't bad what was bad and wish I never purchased it was a Jacuzzi J-275 Hot Tub. For over 20 years I previously owned a Hot Springs tub which worked great to the very end of its functioning life. And thought that I would replace it with the original how tub being Jacuzzi. The tub is the worst design from access to its motors and components to its inability to support the draining of the water. Even its cover lift was a one size fit all design which was a nightmare to install and looks horrible. Every aspect of it demonstrates that the manufacturer had one goal in mind and that was to build it as cheap as possible! Shame on you Jacuzzi!!!!!! Besides being way overpriced versus the competition, this is not my issue. That said they did absolutely nothing more then the other pool company I use does for twice the price. I contacted them last year after my closing from another local company to discuss leak detection. I spoke and emailed with the service manager "Ed" and we set up a plan. I was to have them open the pool very early, which was completed in March so they would have a jump on the leak detection process. I missed that the opening does not include removing the cover. This was an additional charge. So what is their definition of an opening? It was always included with the other vendor. Oh well lesson learned. A week later the technician arrived with a helper to begin the leak detection process. Part of was disconnecting the manifold between the 5 input lines/pump and pressure testing 4 of them. Upon reconnecting the manifold for some reason he used channel locks on a fitting clearly labelled "Hand Tighten Only". This caused the fitting to crack and he spent the next hour repairing this damage. (I saw all this happen) Of course I was charged for this time even though there was no issue until they cranked down on the coupling. Clearly during all the work around the pump they knocked around the unused and disconnected Polaris pipe which subsequently caused a new leak at a 90 degree elbow. Since Rin Robin was new to me I did document the pump house via a video with the pump running prior to this visit..Just in case, so I have a pre visit video and post visit video of the pump house with the pump running. No leaks versus numerous leaks post the service. Then he removed two fittings at the output manifold for some reason as the other two are hard glued and there was no reason whatsoever to undo these. Again pulled out the channel lock pliers to tighten these couplings. He determined he would need to modify this area to allow for the manifold to be disconnected so the individual lines can be pressure tested and said they would send an estimate. I was fine with this. Subsequently these also leaked when the pump ran. After many contacts asking them to come back and correct these newly created issues the technician finally stopped by. At one point they were requesting a credit card number for the new service visit, TO CORRECT THE LEAKS THEY CREATED!!!! I said absolutely not. Again he pulled out the channel lock pliers and snugged up the two pressure side fittings, both labelled "Hand Tighten Only". Incidentally the correct repair would have been simply to replace the old "O" rings and hand tighten the couplings. He also took pictures of the leak at the 90 degree union and stated although it is a quick-simple repair, he would need permission from the owner before he could repair it. He felt it would take about 10 minutes. Subsequently two weeks after this visit i sent an email looking for an update. I was met with a return email stating that they no longer wanted to pursue this job or my business. Clearly they do NOT stand behind the work. OK fine, I do not want to use Rin Robin either, but what about the repair of the new leak they caused??? Stay far away from this company. read more

They're always helpful in maintaining our pool- especially with the software they have to test the water. Prices might be higher than a big box store but it's a small business and I expect that and am ok with it. read more

This review is for Rin Robyn's Chester location. Donovan has excellent customer service skills, was super communicative, and not only managed my expectations - he did exactly what he said he would. We've had inconsistent experiences with pool companies and we hired Rin Robyn to do a tile repair in advance of this year's closing. If they did a good job on the repair - they would be our new pool company. If they did a bad job - we'd keep looking. We were worried about the reviews and even mentioned our concern about the reviews. We were assured that the goal was a long term relationship. Glad we went through with it. They came to do the estimate when they said they would. Scheduling the repair was completely fair and flexible. The guys just finished the repair this weekend and it looks perfect. Time will tell..... but we don't write reviews and decided these folks deserve a good one. PS - only reason it's a 4 is 1) the repair needs to stand the test of time and 2) we don't give 5s read more

Rin Robyn charged me $1,500 to open my pool this year. It has not worked since. They added 40 pounds of salt taking it to levels so high it has broken the pump. I have asked they come and fix the issue. They came once and charged me an additional $250. It is still NOT WORKING. At this point the waterfall is now broken from the salt overload. When I ask to speak to someone in service I receive only a request to bill my credit card for a service call. Rin Robyn is shameful In their behavior and because of the social distancing they do not need to be accountable for their actions as I cannot go into the store and complain. I will be contacting the better business bureau in this. That is for certain. read more

terrible service and way overpriced. the manager at the Hackettstown store needs a lesson or two in customer service. apparently this local store doesn't need anymore business. they sent out a "technician" to service my pool and he showed up, spent (no exaggeration) 30 seconds on site, never knocked on my door or called, and left without doing anything. couldn't be bothered to even look closely at the pool. complete waste of time. $500 to blow out pool lines - total rip-off. I was a long time local customer. do not call these buffoons. I ended up closing the pool myself. plenty of of other local pool companies - call anyone else!! what a disgrace. chemicals are way overpriced as well - can get better prices on Amazon and free delivery. will never go to these guys again. read more

I hired Rin Robyn Pools to service my small indoor pool, and was shocked to be charged over 2,000 dollars to my credit card, without even receiving an invoice. I have yet to receive an explanation for the charges, but I warn to beware. read more

This is the first time I have ever given a poor review for any organization or company. However, I wish I didn't have to give this company even one star. They have the worst service I have ever received in all my years dealing with pool or spa companies. They NEVER return phone calls, quote prices that are way above everyone else and actually refused to do business with me because I tried for two weeks to get the correct person to respond to my requests. We had a very mixed experience with the sales process, but Morgan did a great job working with us and finding a great spa (or so we thought). The unit that was delivered was damaged and we were told that it was that way before they sold it to us and that they would fix the problems immediately. This damaged unit was sold as a new tub and it has been over 2 months now with no repair or updates even after we have checked numerous times. Ed, the service manager, told us there is nothing he can do and hung up on us when we questioned the status of the replacement parts. He was EXTREMELY rude and has no intention of doing anything other than he absolutely has to. We have been lied to, hung up on and ignored so I would encourage ALL to avoid any dealings with Rin Robyn Pools! The owner will NOT engage with clients except to try to bash them once they post their honest reviews of his organization. read more

what a rip off they tried to sell me over $200.00 of chemicals, luckily i only bought $100.00 worth. went somewhere else to find out my water is perfect no need to add chemicals. rin robyn's worker asked if it was my first time using them and i said yes, while i was waiting in line for 1 hour to get my water tested i watched a man return a big box of chemicals. When i tried to return the chemicals they said they will not take them back. why is there double standards. i think that they are a big RIP OFF i will tell anyone and everyone about my dealings with RIN Robyn. read more
