There are several tire store in Cody but they are all closed on Sunday - making Walmart both the…read morebest and only place to come for a flat tire repair (which seems pretty common based on how many others also were seeking the same thing while I was there) or other automobile issue/need (including parts). There is a nearby AutoZone but they don't do tires nor do any of the gas stations or car rental places (according to what others told me). I called ahead but did not make or have an appointment. They said they would work me in between appointments. Due to a cancelation, they were able to start on my car within less than 15 minutes of my arrival. They also made me a fresh pot of coffee (since the pot sitting in the waiting area was out was empty) and replaced my tire's missing valve stem cover. Total cost for a flat repair was $10.40 ($10 plus tax) and less than an hour total time there. Worth the stop. This was my first time using a Walmart for any kind of car care - and overall, I am satisfied with the service and glad It was available. The closest Discount Tire (offering free flat repair) is in Gillette - way too far away to risk driving to. I'm not sure what the local tire places charge, but since they are all closed on Sundays, it doesn't matter. This is a fairly low cost and relatively quick pace to come to get an apparently common tire problem in the area fixed.

We got up early one morning to go ride through Yellowstone but my bike wouldn't start! It would crank but not start. I called Cody Custom Cycle and told them the story. They said bring it in and they would look at it! I didn't have a way to get it there so they loaned me a trailer! I got it down there around 11 am and we took the truck and drove the bear tooth highway. They called me around 3 to let me know what was wrong and they had it fix! I was very surprised and happy to hear. They really had me by the short hairs! I was expecting at least $500 bill! But they only charged me $130! I'm still riding the same bike and loving it! They did a great job and i give them a 10 out of 10!!!

Instead of giving bonuses, they punish employees when they don't meet their ridiculous, unreasonably high goals they expect them to meet that are unattainable and then punish them by deducting from their paychecks. Employees live under constant pressure and high demands. New employess are lowballed and often decline an offer because of bait and switch tactics. If you value how your fellow Wyomingites are treated and care about not supporting Companies that treat their employees badly, DONT reward this greedy, self-serving automotive group by purchasing from them. I understand the original owner cared about his employees, but now that the daughter, Arin Emmert, is running things, she doesn't care about employees, only the money and runs it out of greed with no compassion for those who work for her.

I u tubed it with in minutes I had a very knowledgeable guy explain exactly what the issue was and how to fix it. I also got my tires rotated while I was there. I personally tightened the lug nuts the last time I went on a road trip. Lug nuts were in perfect shape NO rounded edges. Now all my lug nuts are ruined and rounded off not only did I get charged up the butt for absolutely NOTHING I have to replace all lug nuts because their mechanic was too lazy to properly place the socket squarely on the lug nut. My dad was with me. Been going there for decades and told me to keep my cool cause I knew I was passing money on. Don't ask them for help and I wouldn't buy a product from them.
