We try to have a family photo taken each year, and although we cherish the photos and are grateful to have them, getting our three kids ready and cooperative is no easy feat. This year was was a game changer! Yes, getting everyone dressed and out the door was still the usual circus, but once we met up with Ethan it all changed. He immediately put the kids (7, 4, and 2 yrs) at ease and was joking with them like buddies within the first 5 minutes. We didn't even have to get out our bribery bag of Skittles! Ethan is saying that he does not do school photography. This is a lie. He contracted with Hayward Twin Oaks Montessori last year (2022-2023). I paid for my daughters' school portraits (all three of them, over $300 dollars worth). He did follow through on two of the kids' but he never mailed my 9th grader's school portraits (worth over $100). I paid in December 2021 and never heard back from him even after contacting him via his text number AND email multiple times. Even the school admin tried to contact Ethan on my behalf. I am not the only Hayward Twin Oaks Montessori parent who got robbed by this grifter. We talk about what Ethan Righter had done to us, not delivering photos to us, in our school parents group. Shame on you, Ethan Righter, for lying to other clients and us saying that you do not do school photography. I recently found myself in a situation where my job requested me to have business headshots, the typical kind with a suit and tie. Never actually having a headshot done for business purposes, I decided to search the local photographers offering the service at a reasonable price. In came, Righter Portraits. Not only did they have a good price, in my first communication with Ethan, it was easy to get things planned. I didn't know the area too well and he made suggestions on when and where to take some photos. The shoot itself was a very pleasant experience and only 10 minutes away form my home. I brought an assortment of jackets, shirts, and ties in my car and I was given recommendations on the best combinations to try at the location. We tried a varied amount of poses and angles with different outfit combinations. It just so happened the weather was perfect that day for photography. After the photo session, Ethan will send you unedited photos to download in high-quality and web format. From those photos, you can choose the photos you want edited.
