Do hire Mike from Right Choice. Mike's son, Brian, is great to work with, too. Right Choice Painting was great to work with during the estimate process. Very responsive, clear communication, and quick follow‑ups. They answered questions promptly and made scheduling easy. Solid company based on my experience with their professionalism and responsiveness. read more

Do NOT hire Mike from Right Choice Painting, after spending $7500: 1. His crew scratched all the windows on my French Doors while sanding them, about $4000 in damage 2. He watered down the paint in the 1 room he painted inside my house, now it doesn't match the other rooms. 3. He replaced some wood paneling under an outside window & cut the wood to short leaving a gap between the foundation & the new wood letting in cold air, bugs & dirt. 4. The overspray from his paint got on my cement & water softener & he never cleaned it up 5. He spilled paint on my cool deck & never cleaned it up 6. His crew sprayed white paint all over 4 of the 8 windows of 1 of exterior doors & 3 weeks later has not come by to clean it off. It's been 3 weeks & Mike, as the owner, is refusing to take care of any of these issues unless I pay him $1000 first. I have had to file complaints with the ROC & BBB because the damage is in the thousands. He doesnt care, has no customer service, is rude & arrogant & wont come back to fix any of these issues. Look at the pics & decide for yourself, $7500 for this kind of work? read more

Choosing Right Choice Painters was a mistake. They were recommended by a friend. Despite not being the lowest bid, we chose them because of the recommendation. Michael was pleasant during the quote although seemed reluctant to do some additional painting we were willing to pay for, but eventually agreed. The paint crew were young adults who, it turned out, were unsupervised. Our unit was unoccupied during the week they painted. We had contracted two coats of paint, two different colours for various rooms, and walk in closets (although we only had one walk in closet). We returned to the unit one week after the job was completed. First impression was someone had used the toilet and not flushed, so, after a week, the unit smelled of sewage. I had to clean that up. Without permission, they had taken our deck furniture cushions outside and left them there, so I found them soaking wet and filthy. There was overspray on our dish washer, switch face plates were installed upside down. Someone, with paint on their shoe had left paint marks on out brand new LVP floor and on the hand rail of our deck, as well as door handles and switches. There were many places the new paint was so thin you could see the old paint beneath. Worst of all, the whole unit was only painted one color...they had forgotten the other color in two bedrooms. In the walk in closet, two units had mounting points pulled through the dry wall. They had also left two closets unpainted. He said he was not contracted to paint the two closets, where we thought the 'closets' in the contract meant all. A miss understanding. Michael at Right Choice was advised of all the issues. He apologised for the mess, but didn't offer to clean it up. He said I should put post it notes on areas of thin paint (why was I expected to do this) and said it was normal to have issues like that. I suggested that considering all the screw ups, that he paint the two closets as a gesture of good will. He agreed. Right Choice returned to correct the issues. Michael sent me an email stating they would only do one coat in the closets and both closets would be one color. I responded asking him to confirm one closet would be painted to match the bedroom it was in. He did not respond. On return to the unit, I fixed the face plates, unit wall anchors, over spray on appliances, floor, handles and cleaned the toilet and seat cushions myself. The closets were painted but one closet does not match the bedroom it is in. We will not use Right Choice Painters again. read more

I used Right Choice Painting for a remodel project and highly recommend them. They helped with drywall texture, external stucco repair, and finally painting our living room and hallway. Their estimates were excellent and they showed up on time and completed the work to my expectations. Employees were all friendly and I felt safe with them in my home. I will definitely use Right Choice Painting for future projects and would recommend them to family and friends. read more

This company painted the walls and did the floors in my garage. Exceptional quality, high value, but honestly, the service sets them apart. When did it become acceptable to bomb a potential customer with SMS messages and quotes detached from reality in lieu of stopping by a project site? Furthermore, why would you give your money to someone who cannot be bothered to stop by the project site? These are questions you will NOT be asking yourself if you choose Right Choice Painting; I will use them again without hesitation. read more

We only needed the pop outs and trim painted on our house. The rest was fine. Many companies would only agree to painting the whole house. Michael welcomed the job and at a fair price. Team showed up on time and did a beautiful job! We were very impressed. Highly recommend! read more

They did a great job. Came on time and helped me decide the color based on my hoa requirements.

They painted the outside of our house and did an absolutely wonderful job, the best we've had in 4 paintings over the past 23 years. They did everything carefully and always checked with us to be sure we were satisfied. Michael came out every day to check with the crew and us. Carlos and Billy were good workers, and they repaired some of the improper work done by the previous painter. We can recommend them most highly. read more

We wanted to give our master bedroom/bathroom a refresh and began our search last week. After getting one outrageous quote, I was a little discouraged and thought we may need to save the project for later on down the road. Michael gave us a quote that was MUCH more reasonable. AND they had availability within the same week. His team was prompt, very kind and professional, and super efficient. They had everything done within one day and the walls they left us with did not disappoint. I'm so happy I found Right Choice and highly recommend them. I know we will be using them again for any future paint jobs we may need done. read more
