Truly an exceptional PT experience…read more I remember shedding a few tears when I first came in with a significant injury, knowing how far I had to go. Now, 2 1/2 months later, I'm leaving with so much progress--and a lot of emotion. And when I need them, I'll be back! The entire team, from the front office to the PT and assistants, has been wonderful. Compassion, quality, a healthy environment, and best of all, real tools for progress. So grateful for all of them!

Everything went better than expected--she took me to appointments and on errands, and helped around the house. She always asked if there was more that she could do. The office has been excellent as well. I can definitely recommend my local Visiting Angels.

My young caregiver, Galilea was not only accommodating my needs but great at following directions. She made my recovery less trying because of she assisted me. I will use them again if I am in need of care.

I was on my last string. I did a Google search and found Pathways Recovery. I really didn't know…read morewhat I was getting myself into AND it was out of my insurance network. My phone calls to Pathways were met with compassion, understanding and follow-up. I showed up and I really lucked out. I learned that this was a dual-diagnosis program ... let's get to the core of my addiction. I started in detox. The team was incredible kind, supportive and genuine. From there, I moved into inpatient treatment. The structure, education, meetings, coping skills, tools, individual counseling, therapy meetings, etc ... all by design and extremely beneficial. I can honestly say that I did not meet one staff member that was not caring. That may sound a bit surreal but it's true. I received unsolicited feedback from the majority of who I encountered telling me how much they love their job and their colleagues. That speaks volumes to me ... and it should for you as well. I am showing up for myself again. I am loving myself again. I will attend alumni days, write a review and stay in recovery. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Pathways Recovery. I could not have done this without you.

I'm a retired physician, a former quality assurance board member at a Silicon Valley hospital…read more The care I received from my team ( RN Scott , OT Emerald, PT Anita and Amanda from Social Services) more than met my high standards. Their competence, knowledge, compassion and great listening skills is why I believe UC Davis has partnered with them as their affiliate Home Care Agency. Communication skills, patience and experience with homebound patients is different from health care providers in an outpatient or hospital setting. They definitely have that from years of experience in home care. Thank you to this team and the owner of American River Health Care for his insight and providing extra much needed services for free that are not provided by insurance. You have set the bar high! P.S. It's important for NEW home care patients to understand that home care professionals are unable to stick to a specific appointment time frame due to travel time and the importance of judging when the patient is physically and mentally ready before leaving for their next patient.

Beware do not use this agency at all cost. My mom was severely injured to the point of death…read morebecause of the negligence and carelessness of a caregiver named Chaimere. Obviously this caregiver was never trained properly on how to get an elder patient into the car. She fully did not safely put my mom in the car before she pulled her safety walker away in the trunk to turn around and let my mom fall under her car in the garage on hard concrete. She suffered from an open fracture in her ankle that was nearly twisted off her body along with a fractured femur, all of this leading up to a slow and extremely painful passing on hospice. I loose my mother but Chaimer still has a job just because she wanted to get in the car 30 minutes faster. Absolutely unacceptable. Disgusting this agency has unprofessional overpriced caregivers that only care about your money and not your precious priceless loved one. Absolutely nightmare for our family and poor mother traumatized for life.

I do not recommend this clinic because of how unprofessionally my appointment was handled…read more About three weeks ago, after calling several physical therapy offices, I spoke with Cindy. I clearly explained that I needed my treatment sessions to be provided by a physical therapist, rather than receiving only an initial evaluation from a therapist and then being assigned to an assistant. This was important because treatment with assistants had not helped me in the past. The scheduler told me they could schedule me with a physical therapist, but I would have to wait two to three weeks. I agreed and confirmed more than once that I would be treated by a physical therapist. After I waited three weeks while dealing with significant pain, the Therapist called me only one hour before my appointment. They told me they could not guarantee that a physical therapist would provide my ongoing treatment. Instead, a therapist would evaluate me, and I could then be assigned to an assistant. If they could not accommodate my request, they should have told me that when I called. Changing the information one hour before the appointment wasted three weeks that I could have used to find another provider. The experience felt like a bait-and-switch, and their lack of clear communication was unprofessional. I am sharing this because I wish someone had warned me before I scheduled the appointment. Had I read a review describing this practice, I would not have spent three weeks waiting in pain.
