Where do I start? I have been a patient with this company for about 2 years now. I've had two sweet…read morepractitioners that come out to the home and they both take turns coming twice a month. They have done everything I've asked of them When it comes to getting x-rays and for me to find out about certain things that has put me . However, I still have a lot medically that has not been resolved. I have house calls, telehealth specialist and I'm gonna say it like this they're not worth shooting. They only want to do what they see fit either their way or the highway! For example, I have a lot of shortness of breath, and they wanted to give me oxygen which they did. However, it has not fixed the issue. Secondly, to top it off, they gave me oxygen without having a legal diagnosis as to why I needed it. The oxygen company that brought it out has been calling the past several months because appropriate documentation has not been done right. As a result, I'm gonna have to give it back to the company. I'm gonna tell you guys if you're ever in need of oxygen or anything like that please don't depend on this company. Go to a regular pulmonologist and get it done the right and legal way. Another thing I want this company does have a high turnover when dealing with people over the phone I think it's ridiculous. Lastly, I want to add this company loves loves loves doing facilitated visits. I absolutely hate it! Right now, I'm having to until God me to something better. In conclusion, this company does make up stuff about you as they go, just so they can make the big ! I don't know how they get away with all the stuff that they get away with, but they need to be investigated.

A Cautionary Review of Your Health / SC House Calls…read more I feel it's important to be honest: Your Health / SC House Calls is not a company I can proudly say I've worked for. In my experience, this organization prioritizes profits over people--particularly the elderly and individuals dealing with chronic illness. Rather than offering compassionate care, they appear to exploit vulnerable patients by scheduling excessive and often unnecessary visits, seemingly to maximize Medicare and Medicaid billing. Many patients have voiced their concerns, and some have discontinued services altogether due to these practices. The company brands itself as "Christian" and "Value-Based," but my experience did not reflect those values. From the moment I was hired, I was sold a dream filled with promises--company vehicles (only for those who align closely with upper management), remote work (rarely honored), and bonuses (heavily taxed and misrepresented). The reality was far from what was initially presented. One incident in particular stands out. A regional trainer entered our Spartanburg office and approached me with a hostile attitude, raising her voice and misrepresenting a physician's comments about my performance. I remained professional and chose to step outside to de-escalate. I later reported the incident to a statewide supervisor and was reassured that it would be handled. However, days later, on April 8th, 2025, I was abruptly terminated by HR over the phone without any prior write-ups, warnings, or explanation--only being reminded that South Carolina is a "right to work" state. I strongly suspect my termination was influenced by the trainer's complaint. I was not given a chance to share my side of the story. The imbalance of power and lack of accountability in that situation was telling. Sadly, it felt racially charged--especially within a company where African American employees are underrepresented, and where our voices are often labeled as "aggressive," while our white counterparts are met with concern and sympathy. I even overheard senior staff say they needed to hire "more Black people" for diversity, which felt less about inclusion and more about optics. Beyond internal issues, there are larger concerns within the company, including questionable billing practices, allegations of nurses and practitioners stealing patient medications, and discriminatory treatment of employees who do not conform to the internal culture. In summary, I do not recommend working for this company in any of their operating states--South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida. My experience was deeply disheartening, and I encourage potential employees to read other reviews on platforms like Indeed and Glassdoor. Many of the negative ones align closely with what I endured. Please proceed with caution.

There were no shows. My mother in law was pulled up out of her bed (having been given 2 weeks bed…read morerestriction due to broken ribs) and made to dress and was sitting up in her living room CRYING when I got there. Also had someone take her to the store and "share" her buggy. My mother in law paid for Home Instead caregivers BEER for the weekend. When I called to speak to the owner(s) as I was referred by my moms church. Apparently one of the part owners was a member. I was given the RUN AROUND by the front staff. They should be shut down. We had cameras on my mother in law and the one in the bedroom was altered habitually when using Home Instead. Maybe if they paid the caregivers at least half of what they charged per hour, the experience would have been better. Negative stars, however, I have to at least put 1.

There wasn't anything else they could do for him ,but they said the HOSPICE could get things faster than what he could. After talking with this lady for quite awhile I felt like hearing from her how she would have their people take care of her family members should that time ever arrive. I'm so happy that I chose them because they were there all the way to the end. It was April 2nd an I began to notice some changes in the way he was having problems drinking water through a straw. Along with other things that was unusual for him so I called an a nurse called me almost as I put my phone down. She said she was on her way an it would take her about an hour to reach us, but she only took fourth minutes. She took his vitals an said things were a little off and she said she was concerned so she would stick around. My family was impressed by the amount of her continually checking him. She sat down next to mom an was talking with her, but I noticed she was constantly looking at pop when she got a look on her face that was a look of concern. She stood up walked over to me an said she was concerned because she said she hadn't seen him take a breath in about five minutes. She said that she was going to check him again because she didn't want to upset mom. Upon checking his vitals she turned and whispered that he was gone. She went to mom an broke the news to her. My wife and daughter inlaw helped her lay down. The nurse took care of calling everyone that needed to be contacted. Overall I'd give the entire folks that came to care for him a GOLD AWARD. Since then my mom has started having heart ,kidney ,bowels, diabetic, plus some more issues. I didn't hesitate calling them. They got a copy of mom's medical history and said she qualified for the assistance with Hospice. They had said a nurse would be by twice a week unless she needed more. They said that someone would be coming three times a week and they have had someone here Monday thru Friday to help her bathe, change her clothes if needed plus other things if she needed it done. So far the care they've shown my mom is a huge five star. I highly recommend AGAPE to anyone that has a family member that is needing assistance. These folks are at the top of the list when it comes to having home care. I WANT TO SEND A SPECIAL THANKS TO THE ENTIRE HOSPICE COMPANY AGAPE..........

We asked for FMLA paperwork and they said "No problem" after waiting almost 6 weeks we finally had to get it elsewhere. They made "appointments" for visits from their providers who sometimes never showed up or called to tell us they weren't coming. They sent automated messages saying they were coming but then again sometimes never showed up or bothered to notify us. They listened to complaints of increased pain but never made any medication adjustments to keep our loved one comfortable. Instead they kept trying to get him into their inpatient hospice center. Don't use this company if you want a responsive, caring, dependable and competent staff.

Awesome! I can't recommend this service enough. They not only pick up my mother-in-law for her…read moreappointments, but stay with her, then drive her home. All the drivers are great. At first mom said, "I don't know these people," and she didn't want to start. But she needed the ride. Her son had been using up our family sick leave to drive her to her appointments, for example. Joel, who drove her to her first appointment, called me and said she left her medical paper in the car, and he wanted to bring it back to her. When I told mom, she said, "He was so good to me. It's so nice of him to bring my medical discharge paper back to me." Every time an appointment is added, I have no trouble getting mom a ride. You're more than a transportation company. I see your number was connected to Warrior express in the past. You serve many very well, including widows of military veterans, including my mother-in-law! This poem by Emily Dickinson says exactly what you do for her. If I can stop one heart from breaking by Emily Dickinson If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain; If I can ease one life the aching, Or cool one pain, Or help one fainting robin Unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain And you remind me of our 16th President's shortest but most poignant mission statements for our Federal Government in 1865: "To care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow, and his orphan."
