He talks a good game but cannot get the PRN's and CNA's to take care of my mother in law to be professional and caring when my wife makes requests for her care. My wife gets push back from some not all of them. This is a private pay account and they treat her as a visitor in a 6K room a month which we view as my mother in laws house. She and anyone in this place should be treated by every member of the staff with care and dignity not as a case work. These residents are her for care. So to get to the rehab part of this review. When we first brought our family to this facilitythe rehab and care were phenomenal. We are now being told they will no longer help my mother in law with PT after the orthopedic doctor requested 6 more weeks. This is the same physical therapist when my mother in law returned to the facility where she fell and broke her hip and not long after that her shoulder, told my wife "There is no need to do therapy because she will continue to fall and eventually be in a wheel chair the rest of her life. This therapists name is John and I cannot believe he has more pull than an orthopedic doctor. He denied us one we appealed the decision and won and he has now denied care again. This is the saddest thing I have personally had to deal with. I can't get over how a care giver would not want to help an individual get better or maintain their mobility to the best of their ability. This place has very nice walls but after a look inside it is one of the worst thing we have ever done for our mother. Security was great but not intrusive and the facility is very clean and was built in a manner that encourages the residents to gather together and socialize with one another. The staff also exceeded my expectations in a big way. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and it was obvious that they enjoyed their careers and interactions with the residents. I would have zero hesitation in placing a family member in this facility. Highly recommend.

At the time my 76 year old aunt was in the hospital, headed to rehab and then home ONLY if she had full time care. I received a call back within 30 min. I spoke with Rampi and she was informative, succinct and took the time to understand my/my aunts needs. While my aunt was in rehab Rampi visited my aunt and explained all the options and services of Brightstar. My aunt met with 2 other in home care service providers as well. Rampi's follow up to me and to my aunt was exceptional and, not surprisingly, my aunt chose to go with Brightstar. On the day my aunt transferred to home (from rehab) Brightstar team members were there to steward the transition. A nurse was on hand to oversee medication and make sure my aunt was safe and also comfortable. One week into the in home care Rampi did a follow up with me and my aunt to check in and see how things were going. Three weeks in there was an incident, caused by my aunt, that put the Brightstar care giver in a tough position. The issue was resolved within an hour and I got a call from Rampi letting me know what happened, why and the outcome. The next day, when I spoke with my aunt, she relayed the same information and she was pleased with how everything was handled. Honestly, my aunt has very high standards for everything. She is critical and shares her feelings. She doesn't like people in her home (except for a visit) and to hear her praise the in home caregiver and the company was amazing. I was totally shocked and frankly so relieved that she liked the caregiver team, Rampi, the nurse etc. I am thrilled with the service Brightstar has provided me and my aunt. One last note, I live across the country and so finding an organization I could trust was key. I found it. Thank you Brightstar and Rampi!!!

The aids are always Quitting due to the lack of communication. Nurses as well. My husband was left alone several times. No show of aidscomming to the home and not a call from the office unless I called the office. Annessa the Scueduler is rude and not equipped for the position . The owner Rampi never returns calls. I wouldn't recommend this so called agency to anyone.
