Most of the clients there were in dire need of care, where my mother was very high functioning in comparison. A referral of this nature isn't appropriate for someone who is new to hospice diagnosis, and is still working through information, and starting to improve, this seems like a set back. I know that it truly isn't, but it was our interpretation. Perhaps down the road we can revisit, but I feel like the best place is at home, surrounded by family, and fill in the gaps with private duty. Not leave the home again. ​

The first and maybe last person you see on your visit is the receptionist/ scheduler. I almost always see Della Sitterly. I do not know where she gets her patience; she's probably only helped me set up my portal five times. (I am going for a record). She works with everyone on upcoming appointments and never fails to go back and check on that one piece of information someone (me) forgot to remember. No sigh of frustration, just kindness whether on phone or in person. Then, if Stacy is your FNP, Megan Poole is your nurse. She continues the pattern of patience and kindness, as she takes your vitals, writes down questions and chats so you never feel rushed or inconvenient. She always seems to have cool new shoes or a nifty scrubs outfit. What I really like, is if my BP is unusually high first time around, she just quietly moves onto other things to give me time to settle in and, surprisingly, second times the charm and my numbers come down. I really appreciate that. Stacy Herrin, DNP, FNP-C is my treating source. She is kind, non judgemental, LISTENS, makes time to answer questions and amazingly seems to be familiar with my file before entering the room. Stacy follows up, recommends action or specialists if needed, is always responsive to me asking for refills or having a question O forgot to ask. And I don't think she has ever been late for my appointment (I know sometimes that's just an occupational hazard). Again, I never feel rushed or too much trouble. Calm, respectful, consideration with a touch of humor seems to be a personnel characteristic. I am older, so my life seems to be full of doctors appointments and we see each other a few times a year. I always look forward to seeing everyone. Highly recommend the Lincoln Internal Medicine for your family. I am sure everyone there provides the same excellent service.

Behind their exaggerated, fake pleasantries -- there exists nothing but cold, calculated, profit driven, self protective motivations. This practice has let me down repeatedly, in ways which have permanently damaged my well being. I first requested info on line and I was contacted by phone within 24 hours. I then spoke with Tabitha at their office and explained what I was looking for. We needed someone to supervise mom, transport her to her dialysis appointments, fix meals and just provide companionship while we went out of town on vacation for 5 days. We met with Connie who came to my home and listened to my needs, met my mom and thoroughly explained their services and fees. I was happy with the prices because I thought that they were reasonable given that I needed to have peace of mind and know that my mom was going to be safe. I actually appreciated the fact that she didn't try to upsell me. Their rates are based upon the specific needs that the person has - the more needs or more hands on attention - the higher in hourly rate. My mom qualified for the lowest rate as she didn't need assistance with bathing, dressing...etc. Then, about 2 weeks later, we were introduced to my mom's caregiver, Julie. Of course, I was anxious and tried to get a good vibe from Julie since I would be allowing this person access to my mom and my home. I sensed that she was going to be fine. She clicked with my mom, hugged her and just seemed to be a good person. We went on our trip and I checked in with mom daily. After day 1, mom said "I love her (Julie)!" She said that Julie was very attentive and patient with her. Each day (we were gone for 5 days) mom reported that everything was going really well and that Julie was taking great care of her. Julie texted me daily to let me know that all was well. She drove my mom to dialysis and made her a meal upon returning home. Just knowing that someone was taking good care of my mom allowed me to truly enjoy my vacation and to relax. She even took my mom out for a walk inside the local mall for exercise, took her to lunch, took her a hair and nail salon appointment. On the last day, mom said, "Julie is good for me. Can I please have her every week?" I am going to do my best to fit this into my budget because it is truly a great help to me and good for my mom. This company is very professional, consistent and responsive in communicating with me (extremely important to me) and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

Within an hour of my conversation, I received a message from the CDC indicating I was "due for a booster". Very disconcerting that they didn't get this very important information correct!

The staff did not try to offer a solution for me wasting my time. There were 2 other women sitting in the lobby who had also been waiting for 30 minutes on their appointments.
