After a back injury, my doctor recommended that I take physical therapy to remediate the pain. I…read morereached out to IVY Rehab physical therapy in Shelby, NC and asked them if they are in the network with united health and confirmed that they are. On my first session, I asked the receptionist Heather if they are in the network and she confirmed they are. I started my sessions with no issues, but I was surprised that a 35-dollar co-pay is required and started paying the co-pay until I called my united health representative and he stated that that business IS NOT in the network, and then I realized that's why I charged co-pay. On 4/10/26 I had a physical therapy session at 8am EST. during this session it was a new therapist different than the previous session. He proceeded by massaging my back (Middle back) however, he was pressing so hard that I asked him to please not to press hard, however, he kept doing it. Then after excruciating pain, he left without saying anything and another therapist came and continue the session. Basically, when I was done, I left with more pain than when I started. I called their office and complained and asked them not to charge my provider and waive the co-pay due to the issue I had with the therapist, but they refused and ask me to call united health. I called my provider and they stated they cannot help me due to the business being out of network. It was the worst experience I had. Never going back

They don't see you as a person they see you as money. They have no process to fit you in with someone that is best fitted for you. They put you with whoever is available first and their pocket. If you are suffering don't even call the front office including Tyler the manager will lie right to you. They are other facilities locally that have far more moral clarity than this establish will ever have. If there was a negative rating that would be my rating. You are already suffering don't take there abuse if you care about your health. They are absolutely horrific overall. I had to hit one star to make post other was minus 10 starts.

Pro T was very friendly and professional and the initial assessment was very thorough. The office manager was great and he gave me a paper outlining all my upcoming appointments and who I would working with on those days. The therapists were skilled and thorough as well. I completed 5-6 sessions and felt a lot of muscle spasms and pain during parts of each session which the therapists and I decided were not helping. In short, my sessions were not helping due to my condition, not due to the therapists. The facility was state of the art and the space was clean and welcoming. Everyone remembers your name and that was a good feeling! I would highly recommend Pro Therapy.
