I truly feel lucky to have found Passage Immigration Law! My…read moregreen card case was both minor and complex. It was minor because I had DIY-ed my green card petition and only needed an immigration law firm to help me submit the I-485 adjustment of status application. I initially compared several law firms. One firm in Beaverton initially said they could take my case, but later informed me that they only accepted marriage-based immigration cases and not other types. Really? I suspect the real reason was that they didn't see much profit in my case--just as I had anticipated from the beginning. Later, I found Passage Immigration Law on Google, where they had hundreds of five-star reviews. It turned out to be absolutely the right decision to have them handle my case. Communicating with Henry and his team was efficient and smooth from start to finish. I believe Henry has many clients, yet he always remembered the details of my case clearly and provided highly valuable advice. My questions were always answered promptly. From the time I first contacted Passage Immigration Law to the moment I received my green card, it took about six months. Throughout the entire process--including consultation, interviews, document preparation, submission, and the final interview--Henry consistently provided professional and patient assistance. Working with him made me feel like I was his only client. From my experiences dealing with multiple law firms, I can confidently say that Passage Immigration Law is the most professional and dedicated firm I have ever encountered.

I had a consult here and it became a dueling conversation. I'm no law student but I am a…read moreprofessional with a career and even I can tell when an attorney is good or not. Ms. Martinez is a novice that appears to shy from real cases. Don't let the U of Santa Clara diploma fool you. Her answers left me perplexed. Basically I have been consulting with attorneys for the last 20 years. I finally came to the point where I could move on from DACA to adjust my status. She came up with all the negatives and questioning things that were irrelevant. Additionally she wasn't too familiar with law so I'd have to discredit her claim of "experience". She's seemed lazy and unwilling to want to take cases that may require work. In fact she sent me to pull my own FOIA when I was willing to pay her the $500 she was wanting to charge. Just didn't go through with it since they never returned my call. If she's only taking cases that are a slam dunk you might as well do the paperwork yourself. Don't expect any help here. BTW I went to another attorney that has over 20 years of experience [I knew they were good when they quoted that action that didn't go into law until 1996] that statement alone nullified any "concern" Ms.Martinez had for my case, had she known that she wouldn't have had to question the case and could've saved herself and me time. Long story short- in 6 mos. I received my green card (through that other law firm) and now am 3 yrs away from citizenship. So glad I didn't go back to Ms. Martinez after her consult (thank you for failing to return my calls and not following up. :)

Our attorney has asked questions that another immigration law firm just did not think to ask--simple things, but when a question is not asked, the answers are never found. Caring and respect are very apparent at this office, from paperwork to questionnaires to payments and so much more. Another thing is that they are very aware of the client's funds and have kept us apprised of where the money is spent and when a payment needs to be made. No huge upfront payments with this firm. It is not like another larger immigration firm that wasted our money and got us nowhere. I was quite worried about this, but it has been handled very well by these attorneys. This is the best place to go for your immigration needs.

I chose him as my attorney after being the victim of a car accident resulting from road rage of the driver how rear ended me. I thought since i was the not-at-fault driver that I wouldn't need an attorney because it was pretty straight forward. Quickly I learned quite the opposite. Within about a week of reporting the accident I was sent tons of mail from Geico asking me to fill out a ton of information (keep in mind I'm trying to recover from a severe accident with horrible whiplash and other painful injuries including ptsd). I couldn't even believe the overwhelming amount of paperwork they wanted me to read and handle so I immediately called Keith and told him I would love for him to help me. He took over everything and basically told me I didn't have to lift a finger and he would contact me immediately if I need to know anything. My situation ended up being tricky seeing that I have the worst insurance company out there and the other driver also had Geico. This resulted in Geico not wanting to spend money helping me recover. Keith walked me through the entire process of how Geico deals with these things and what they will likely do (based off of past clients and many other business colleagues who deal with Geico insurance). Long story short, (since there would be so much to explain about why) After tons of questions, Keith giving me plenty of his time through back and forth e-mails, and a few phone calls likely ranging from 20-60 minutes my husband and I decided we just didn't want to deal with nasty Geico and I just wanted to move on with my life and try to put all the accident stuff behind me if possible. We chose to accept the unfair settlement from Geico and move on with life. Keith was extremely kind and generous and gave me a surprise client discount which increased the portion I would be receiving back from the settlement. I'm not saying anyone should expect this but it just goes to show that he is a good man and a good attorney. Even my in laws were shocked when they heard this. They said they've never heard of an attorney doing something like that. Also, his paralegal Elma and the receptionist have always been super kind and prompt in answering my calls/emails/questions/concerns. I highly recommend Keith @ White & Shephard. I also highly recommend any insurance other than Geico :)
