From the start, I found Jan Buescher to be extremely temperamental and entitled. She gave the impression of being kind and caring, but my experience was the exact opposite. Unless you constantly push her to take action, nothing gets done. She took my money and, in my opinion, did absolutely nothing to move my case forward. If you question her or her lack of progress, be prepared to be reprimanded rather than helped. When I could no longer afford to pay more, she found a way to drop me as a client--even though she had done little to nothing for my case. Her hours of operation are practically nonexistent, and she is almost impossible to reach. The office is run more like a strange academy than a professional law firm. Jan does not have a "team" as advertised. There is one paralegal and a part-time secretary, both of whom are extremely difficult to get a hold of and, frankly, not very pleasant to deal with. To make matters worse, I later discovered that Jan Buescher was actually disciplined by the Arizona Bar in 2019, receiving an admonition and probation for professional misconduct. Had I known this before, I would never have hired her. I ended up filing a complaint with the Arizona Bar Association myself, and I would do it again without hesitation. In my opinion, Jan Buescher cannot be trusted to represent her clients' best interests. I strongly urge anyone considering this firm to look elsewhere.

She is not board certified in any discipline of the Law. A Board Certified Specialists are lawyers who have been recognized by the State Bar as demonstrating superior knowledge,skill, integrity, professionalism and competence in a specific area of law. Mrs, Cotto has had a career all over the board as a public defender and now family law. Mrs. Cotto is not from the United States and is completely unaware of how our sophisticated culture works. In my experience she is more likely to try and drive up client billable hours as supposed to attempt to reach amicable solutions. In my experience Mrs. Cotto employed bulling tactics and will attempt to intimidate and push you around. It's almost comical. She dose not speak English as a first language.
