I turned in my rental and went to pick up my truck. The did not replace the windshield, when I asked about it, she said 'Did you tell us to fix it?' I told her I did tell them. Also the insurance estimate would have told them. I had to get a ride home and get another rental the next day. They called me a few days later that it was done. That's when I noticed the wheel fender was no placed correctly. The guy told me sometimes when they fix them; it doesn't go back on like when the factory does it. The paint was also chipping on the edge of it. The manager said he would order the part and call me when it was time to put it on. That was 5 months ago. I will NEVER use them again. They were recommended by my insurance.

They talked me into putting a black wrap on the spoiler and on my roof and other parts of my car. It turned out to be a very cheap wrap. And it looked horrible after a couple years. It took Southwest Body Shop over seven hours for two minutes to take this wrap off my car. When I went back to Street to talk to them about this rap, they told me they would charge me to take it off and would not stand behind it.!!! I'll give an example of why Autocraft Inc and the head mechanic Jimmy are so great. Once I had trouble with my car - it was overheating. He suspected the car needed a new waterpump, but he later found it was a problem with the gauge. Despite doing the equivalent of a thousand dollars worth of labor and parts, he only charged for what he would have charged if he was right which was a fraction of the price. I even authorized the extra work expecting to pay more. Jimmy refused to be paid until the car was fixed right. I mean, he could have just said "Hey, the estimate was off, I did a lot of work on your car, I deserve to be paid". That's how a lot of other shops do it. Basically, this guy seems like he is in the mechanic business because he likes to fix cars, he likes people and wants people to trust him and keep coming back. He takes pride in his work and his reputation and that is a hard thing to find these days. If you work downtown, I would recommend leaving your car to have it worked on, then just walk down Polk st to pick it up.

The reviews were complementary, plus the write-up by the shop explained who they are and how much experience their staff have in repairing vehicles, so this made us feel comfortable enough to set up an estimate for repairs needed. Upon arrival, an employee named Mindy greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. She got another employee for us named Isaac, who is an on-site adjuster, and he took over from there and on the spot put together a comprehensive estimate for us to submit to the other person's insurer that we were dealing with. We received approval from them in short order to have our vehicle fixed, so we set up the appointment and took it in to this business. Throughout the repair process, Isaac kept us updated, and once all work was fully finished, we were given our SUV back in pristine condition! The inside was detailed beautifully as well. Overall, they provided an excellent work product and had great communication. Also, their charges for all of the work needed were quite reasonable and fair.
