Dr. Straight helped me with a severe eye abrasion caused by a broken contact lens. She sent a text on Saturday to make sure I had gotten the antibiotic.Then again on Sunday to see if there was any improvement. I was in so much pain that I was basically just standing around with my head down trying to find a comfortable position that didn't exist. I have been to riemer before I've been a cash customer and I've also been a insurance customer and when you are cash customer you get better service this last time I had to go get glasses it's been 3 weeks ago they told me about 2 weeks to get my glasses back I called back and then it was always going to be 2 to 3 weeks and I called back at the end of 3 weeks and now they say oh no it's 2 to 4 weeks it's ridiculous and the reception this is the one who keeps telling me different times and when I tell her it was the receptionist that told me the two to three weeks she hung up on me I would find somewhere else to go read more

I had to wait forever to get into my appointment like 45 minutes hustle they put stuff in your eye make sure vision weird and I had to drive home. Had a hell of a time they don't tell you but at least the classes I got been there about the chilliest crappy glasses I've ever had. read more

So far so good. I moved to this eye doctor after having a bad experience with another. I was excited to have my first female eye doctor. She's been great. Helpful and supportive. They have a wide array of glasses. Brands both high and low. The building is beautiful and huge. I recommend. I wish they had more mid range, stylish options like Lamb, MCM, etc. Also, it took almost a month for my new glasses to come in, but since they did, they were perfect. read more

I have yet to have a pair of glasses be the right fit. The prescriptions for my glasses have been wrong. The Bifocals were a joke. Not enough space at the bottom to the lens there for you can only see part of the visual field. Dr Reimer has several money making project's going on that I am questioning his diagnosis's. But I have been with Dr Reimer Family for so many years, at 64 not ready to start over again with a new provider. read more

Even if you live in Manistee, it's faster to drive to the Ludington office and back. I really liked my doctor, she was kind, fun, and professional. This location is ALWAYS short staffed for optical technicians. I've waited for an hour MULTIPLE separate times to get my glasses adjusted, pick up contacts that were inside, etc., gone inside to check where I was on the list, and discovered my name crossed off. Deserves one star, only got two stars because my doctor is wonderful and most of the staff has been kind, though typically the optical techs are rushing and stressed since they have multiple people to handle at once. I've been a good customer for the year that I've lived in town but absolutely will not be returning. read more

My husband called for over an hour since ER recommended he go there if he still had problems with his eye. No one answers the phone. They want you to schedule an appointment online so they don't have to do their job. When someone has something in their eye, they need attention now. He never got to talk to a human, so had to go back to ER. read more
