The last day I saw Dr King (summer 2023) I was using the nitrous gas but wasn't ready for the injections yet. Dr King came in to check my status and he seemed stressed or rushed. When I told him that I wasn't quite ready for the injections yet, he lost his temper and actually raised his voice and YELLED at me, "Well, I can't wait forever! I've got other things to do too!!" and he stormed out of the exam room. My eyes met with the dental tech in the room and I asked, "Is he coming back?" She replied, "I'm not sure. I'll go check." I said, "That was NOT acceptable behavior. He can't just have a temper tantrum and stalk out because I'm taking too long with th nitrous! He KNOWS me!! He KNOWS it takes a long time for me to get relaxed and then it takes a long time for me to get numb." I requested that the partner dentist, Dr. Eric Reum, take over my care and I have been SO pleased with his performance. He's so kind, gentle, sweet, understanding, calm, stable, even-tempered and easygoing. I'm very happy and grateful that he accepted my case. My husband has been his patient for years - ever since he joined the practice. My husband speaks very highly of Dr Reum too!
