All were really nice, within my price range and in my desired location; I actually liked most of them! Even this part would have been impossible without them: I mean, most places don't even take dogs. 2 Even if I could have done it, it would have been a full-time, heart-breaking job for a month. The coordination work Kristine did alone was worth it, and she helped me persevere as places appeared and disappeared frustratingly within hours. 3 I would never have recognized the deal-breakers Kristine did. She never pushed or nudged, but she saw things I just missed. Signs of an unrepaired leak; a cracked window. 4 The landlord was a real stickler, demanding an unusual amount of paperwork from me. Kristine was super supportive as I gathered and sent and re-sent everything, and waited. A year later, there have been only pleasant surprises. Nothing triggers my allergies. My neighbors are awesome. It's a great building. This also is something Kristine predicted on the basis of little things she observed when we visited. And it means she was listening to me, and really knows the city and its neighborhoods. Another thing: back last year I called another rental broker before I settled on San Francisco Relocate, and they turned me down, saying what I was looking for couldn't be done. I respect that, but ... they were wrong.

I found SF Relocate through Yelp and read the positive reviews & recently met another busy professional who used them to relocate from Honolulu too, and he shared his positive experience. I sent them a message via Yelp advising of my relocation date & apartment needs & received a quick reply. I chose to view the apartments on the first Saturday after my arrival & focused in the northeast quadrant of SF (Pacific Heights, Cow Hollow, Marina Districts) as I work early hours in the financial district & I needed a quiet, safe apartment with parking. Additional preferences were hardwood floors & gas stove. My agent was Charity, who is super awesome, has great energy & enthusiasm & personality. We saw about 12 apartments all day in both my preferred areas & a few beyond (about 8 hours in total). Several apartments matched my needs in my preferred location but one beautiful apartment in a Mediterranean building stood out with 3 walk in closets & parking, facing the back garden (nice & quiet), gas stove & hardwood floors. Charity contacted the agent expressing my interest & to arrange for an application. I got the beautiful apartment that I wanted & am happily living in it & enjoying the Marina District with convenient & eateries shops nearby. I would recommend SF Relocate to anyone who doesn't want to deal with hunting & pecking for an apartment, combing through listings especially fake postings & understands the cost of convenience & expertise.

Prior to closing we requested a copy of the draft deed, which contained both misspellings in our name and misstated how we intended to take title. We immediately sent Chicago Title our corrections that same day, Tuesday. The mobile notary arrived Friday morning and the documentation provided had the same uncorrected errors. Not a showstopper, but annoying. We did not get an estimated final settlement statement from Chicago Title until that same Friday morning, when we signed our documents. We then immediately called our banks to initiate the wires (about 8:45 am Pacific time). We acted as soon as we could based on when Chicago Title provided information, which seemed to be enough time for a Monday recording. However, we proceeded to receive several emails over the course of Friday afternoon informing us that they had not received our second (smaller) wire. We provided Chicago Title the information we had, and asked them to confirm when they received our second (and final wire), which they did not do. Nor did they tell us that our lender needed to provide additional interest over the weekend, or why. On Monday we were informed the funds were released and the documents sent for recording. We requested to be made aware of when the documents were recorded so we knew when we could get the keys. No response. Our agent had to text Chicago Title inquiring if the deed and deed of trust were recorded so we could take possession. After recording we requested a copy of our grant deed, deed of trust, and the actual final settlement. We initially only received our deed of trust. We had to follow up to get our grant deed and again to get our final settlement as buyers. They did, however, send us the sellers' final settlement for some unknown reason. The seller chose this escrow company and maybe they have had better experiences in the past. For us as the buyers, this office was a black hole of information. At no point did we know where we were in the process despite frequent requests for updates. The only time we got proactive communication was when the escrow office wanted updates on a wire. Once they presumably received the wire, Chicago Title went back to radio silent. Would not be our first choice in the future.

Professional and Reliable Property Management I have been…read moreworking with The Cal Agents since 2025 to manage my house rental in the Bay Area, and it has been a consistently positive experience. Key Highlights: 1. Exceptional Team: I've had the pleasure of working with Wilsen, Ahyeza, Chris, Patricia, Jana, Fiona, Nikki, and Ramiro. They are professional, attentive, and easy to collaborate with. 2. Problem Solvers: One of their greatest strengths is that they never shy away from a hard problem. Whether it's a maintenance issue or a tenant concern, they tackle it head-on with a level of responsiveness that is hard to find. 3. Trusted Partnership: When you are looking for a partner to manage an investment property, creating an empathetic and caring relationship with the tenants is the most important factor. They have proven themselves to be reliable stewards of my property. Pro-Tip for Owners: Because they manage a diverse portfolio of both condos and houses, I found that providing clear context on my specific expectations for house-level marketing and maintenance from the start created a great feedback loop. Their receptiveness to this high level of communication is exactly why our partnership works so well; it ensures everyone is aligned from day one. Overall: If you need a team that is responsive and capable of handling the complexities of the Bay Area rental market, I highly recommend The Cal Agents.

I spoke to one agent, then made an appointment to have calls with others. The Cal Agents called me, and in less than a minute I realized it was someone from a Philippine call center. What a slap in the face. Outsourcing is a hot button issue, and I will NEVER share personal information with someone overseas, but also: WHY? Are they too busy for a two minute call to make that connection? Introduce themselves? Answer relevant questions? And perhaps MOST CLOYING: is this the same company that employs those same call centers to make masked cold calls asking to buy our property? HARD PASS.

However, the lease did say that I needed to give a 30 day notice; however, the manager miscommunicated this to me. The reason I am complaining is because the manager is clearly the employee of Richard J Bocci Realty and you guys are not taking responsibility for your employee. He told me in front of people to pay 2 weeks worth of rent and that's what I did. The property, however, charged me for a month and deducted that from my deposit. Here are why I should get the check back. I have evidence in text messages and from people who heard the manager tell me that I could leave in 2 weeks. Also, I lived here for 2.5 years and have NEVER paid a rent amount less than the actual rent. When I paid 2 weeks worth of rent, they NEVER notified me. I also returned MY KEYS when I moved out. Why didn't they contact me then to ask me why I am moving out so early? The manager clearly knew I was moving out but he is currently lying to the realty that he never told me to move out in 2 weeks. If you are Richard J. Bocci, please contact me using Yelp. I am currently in the process of talking to Nick Bocci but he is not trying to help at all. If this does not get erased, DO NOT LIVE HERE. They try to scam and take your deposit.

My parents moved into this property a couple years ago and recently moved out. The only thing that kept them there is the location and the friendly neighbors. The owner of the building comes around and looks through windows and into your unit, which scared the hell out of me and my mom one day and we caught him looking into the living room window and looking in the stuff in the back yard, he probably digs through our garbage as well. That is very unacceptable PERIOD. By law you must give the tenant 24 hours notice to come to the unit. This exact property is an ant farm, there isn't a garbage disposal and there is MOLD. Deposit - Bocci robs people for their deposit. They will charge anything and everything they can even if you paid for it to get done already. For the backyard to be cleaned will cost you $30 bucks a month, Bocci will charge you $350 out of your deposit to get it cleaned after you move out. SERIOUSLY!!! Straight up robbed my parents. They were never late on rent or barely complained, but the owner of the building complains about anything and everything. We got the place cleaned professionally and even painted but they ended up charging for painting and cleaning again. Out of $1,700 we only got $800 bucks back. BEWARE SERIOUSLY THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS.
