This being my second I was terrified, it had been 10 years since my first and I have a lot more responsibilities now than I did then. Brian made a plan immediately (well... as soon as Dallas Co. finally sent evidence to him anyway), he laid out options we could take to prove not guilty by going to trial. The issue with that however, is that with Covid I would not see a trial date for another year and half! That means I would have to continue with bond conditions the entire time (no drinking, breathalyzer, blow 3x a day at least)... you may as well be on probation if you have to wait that long and take a plea. He had a plan for that too! What you are getting with this law office is the relationship they have with the DA, that even if you do take a guilty plea they will work for the best possible outcome and wont settle for less. Brian got me down to a DWI I (one, misdemeanor) and my conditions of probation are actually far less than what they were of my first one. I am super grateful and have been putting my best foot forward as to not screw up this great deal he got me. Also loved the staff, they were always very responsive and helpful!

I was initially confused, and when I contacted my insurance, they advised me to check with LexisNexis for legal records. Upon doing so, I confirmed that it was the same unresolved ticket. As a result, my insurance premiums have increased by $120 per month, a rate that will remain for the next 5 to 7 years. This amounts to an additional $1440 annually and a total of $7200 over five years. Shawn Storey failed to perform the required legal work, and in a struggling economy, I am burdened with an extra $120 each month. I advise others to steer clear of attorneys who make false promises regarding dismissals or legal outcomes. I plan to contact him again to discuss this matter and seek a resolution.
