The gentleman working the counter not only had great taste in music but he included a very informative guide to kite flying for those of us whose skills are on par with paper airplanes. It was very slow, there was one other couple in the store on this Friday afternoon. There were two staff people attend the store. I asked one of the gentleman about their products and he was able to answer my quesitons. I made my selection and as I was checking out, I noticed they took the touchless Apple Pay option. I have an Apple Card which I rarely use and decided I would give it a go. I've used it maybe two previous times with mixed results. I pulled up the card on my phone and asked if they took Apple Pay and they guy said, we take it no problem. I scanned the point of sell unit and I heard a beep and thought the transaction was going through. That was not the case, it didn't go through. The other guy who I think was the Manager/Owner came over. He said 'oh yeah' we do touchless transactions. I asked if there was a certain technique with Apple Pay. His response, was "well, that's an Apple issue, you will need to call Apple to figure that out" I was stunned, I've never been talked to like that in any customer service oriented situation. I will leave it at that but I will not be returning to Kitty Hawk Kites on Ocracoke . There are way too many other options where the Vendors appreciate your business and your patronage.

They are both very knowledgeable and will extend to their customers the most gratifying, exciting, personable, and most awesome fishing charter one can experience in a lifetime. I have court everything from triggerfish, mahi-mahi, tilefish, red snapper, silver snapper, Vermilion snapper, grouper and porgies. I have received North Carolina's citations for largest Caught trigger fish at that time. Booking reservations with this Charter for me has been difficult. However once you're booked you are in and prepare yourself for an awesome time. It is so very important for a captain to know his craft and this I can truly say about Captain Andy. It really helps to not have to haul your beach chairs and umbrella down on the drive, but rather you can easily rent them for the week and they'll even deliver to your house. Additionally, we started renting a grill from them which is extremely convenient. The most recent rental went off smoothly just like our other interactions with them. They even dropped everything off on Memorial Day, when a lot of other businesses were closed. The manager, Kris, dropped off our items and even hooked the propane up to the grill for us. Thanks Ocean Atlantic for continuing to provide friendly service and a level of convenience that is always appreciated on our vacation.
