Build your own pasta - linguine and truffle Parmesan sauce - incredible!
Sandeep C.

Small and cozy place for great pasta! It seems almost always packed so be sure to book your reservation early.... these European dinners take a while :p. The staff is no nonsense, all about the food. When it comes to food, get the pasta! You can actually build your own pasta dish with the type of pasta and the sauce. We got the linguine with a Parmesan truffle sauce. It was so fresh! Got a pizza too, the sausage one... wasn't too bad but not great. A bit saucy/soggy. The olive oil focaccia was great too along with the wine selection. Great spot to take a break from the chocolate and frites!

I asked a local about the preference of two Italian Restaurants suggested by Yelp and he directed me to a third, his favorite, Ricotta & Parmesan. It was a great recommendation. From the greeting at the door to the menu advice and the delicious taste of each bite, I was extremely pleased! I started with the table advertised Malbec and was ready too have a tasty dinning experience. First course, eggplant parmigiana followed by chorizo risotto. I'm glad I was given pause in between because the eggplant deserved to be savored. The risotto had enough spice to make me want to sing. As a finale, I melted along with the chocolate moelleux dessert. Then I had the opportunity to walk through the other rooms. The vintage decor makes you think grandma might be in the kitchen helping. Very charming. This dinning experience reveled some of the best I've had in Italy. Highly recommended.

Escalope de veau a lá milanesa

Very Italian French restaurant. Nothing was in English so be careful. I ordered the Escalope, which does not translate to scallops; it was fried veal with spaghetti. Even though it wasn't what I meant to order, the meal was quite delicious! The spaghetti noodles were perfect, the sauce was amazing, and the veal was pretty good. I wish the knives were sharper, but it's an Italian place do almost no need for one. I would go back for sure!

Heard Miles horn breaking in and out of this place, looked in window to see instruments then folks siting in red cloaked chairs with matching walls and drapes. We were greeted with "yes we have live music tonight. You can catch the last set." A very cute staff member took our cover and seated us in the way back. Great perspective on the entire place and a decent view of the stage. On tonight, Kim Versteynen and her group Kim in the middle debuting their new release. Another cute waitress took our drink order and we settled in. Very classy upscale place. Any place supporting live jazz has a warm spot in my heart. Intimate, dimly lite with a huge bar opposite the stage. Kim a Belgium native shocked the both of us with her warm earthy soulful voice. We appreciated her entertaining us for an hour and a half with encore. Not sure what's coming next but considering this is literally a block from the square, I'll be back!

We even asked if we could pay additional to sit closer to stage at all these empty tables and they said No - they were reserved. Not sure how this is supposed to work but so far we're VERY disappointed in this venue. At least the beer is cheap but look at this view! At least musicians were good but people behind me talked the whole show. Not sure it's worth the hassle of bad seats. We'll pick elsewhere next time.
