Search is over! I finally found a solid place where they actually come your way to pick up your…read morejunk. The name PRESTIGE says a lot about their character and they are located in Granada Hills. After asking around and doing a Google and Yelp search, I kind of gave up hope. Never give up hope. A lot of the places were located all the way in the boonies and were very far from where I live. Couldn't drive all the way to those far places with my old car. I was talking to a friend of mine about this issue, and she referred me to this place and told me that they do a great job. So I took her word for it and made a phone call last week and talked to a guy by the name of Robert. I don't know if he is the owner or one of their employees. We made an appointment and they came and picked up my stuff within 2 days after my phone call. That's some fast and quick service. I gathered all my stuff together, and some things had never even been used. Maybe once or twice. Sitting there, collecting dust. I had an old Boom Box and its remote control, two small Sony speakers, an old JVC VHS player that came with its own remote control and also had a cassette player. An electric pencil sharpener, and an old printer, that was no longer working properly. One of the things that I liked about Robert was that he was very patient, kind, and explained to me all the details step by step, one by one. They also pick up recycled bottles, cans, cartons, & paper. I had a whole bag of it. Of course, our apartment building has a large dumpster for us to recycle. I am all about keeping the environment clean. They were very professional and one of the guys accidentally dropped few of the pieces on my carpet and apologized right away. Every item has it's own price. For all that, they gave me $115.00 that also included 10% of the space that your belongings take in their truck. Two guys came, I think one's name was Nelson, and can't remember the other guy's name. Even their big, long truck was clean and arrived on time. Exactly at 11am. They accept credit cards and cash. Also gave me a receipt. They accept the following items, which are: electronic devices, furniture, waste, home appliances, houseware stuff (mattress), garbage, along with landscaping/for landfill. The rest I have already mentioned in my review. I mean those guys do it all and were super careful not to damage any part of your property. Inside or outside of the building. Two thumbs up and I will definitely use them if and when I need to recycle more stuff. Highly recommend them to everyone--in their time of need! Thank you all very much.

They moved a large vintage upright piano and a grand piano, removed a massive Jacuzzi (which they carefully cut into pieces because it couldn't be removed whole), and handled a very heavy industrial sewing machine -- all efficiently and professionally. On top of that, they even delivered my sewing machine to a friend for me. Their teamwork, strength, and problem-solving were incredible to watch. The price was very fair, and the service went above and beyond anything I expected. I'm so grateful I found this crew and was happy to have them back again. Highly, highly recommend -- they can truly handle just about any job. Absolute top-quality service!

Ethan, Brian, and Jakob were outstanding!…read more I had an old hot tub that was completely dead and needed to be removed. The challenge was figuring out whether they could maneuver it through a narrow gate on its side or if they would have to cut it up and haul it out in pieces. They carefully measured everything, came up with a plan, and successfully got the entire hot tub through the gate without cutting it apart. They also helped move several large potted plants that were in the way, which was greatly appreciated. Their professionalism, problem-solving skills, and positive attitudes made the whole process easy and stress-free. They worked hard, were courteous throughout, and were genuinely great guys to work with. And the price was fair! This is the second time I've used 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, and once again they exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them!

We had a mess, and did not address all of it until this month. My wife called Alex and got a callback almost immediately. We had been trying for a couple weeks to get someone out to do the job - this after we spent two weekends trying to organize and clean up best as we could. All my wife had to do was send some pics, and within 30 minutes she got a quote and was asked when we wanted them to come. NEXT DAY. They showed up not just on time, but a little early. It's 96º and miserable. Alex and his Dad came here with a very large truck. Within an hour, they had placed everything (and more) into their truck, swept up, and basically made us very happy! It may not be glamorous work, but it's important work, and finding someone who does their job well and is nice on top of it is a rare find. If you live in Pasadena, Altadena, Sierra Madre, or any nearby community give these guys a call. I will 100% do so when we need their help again. A credit to local workers. Support them! Trust them!
