Mike P is the name on the receipt and while he did level with me and curb most of the sales jargon and actually compare and contrast available phones with me he did flat out misinform me of those two main issues. it was expressed that the phone ha comes standard with a 6ft cord and that there are no known volume controls when in fact that rage inducing caveat comes built in! I don't even know what steps I could or should take given I paid money and walked out with not entirely what I asked for. the secret enforced mommy daddy controls over MY VOLUME ON MY HARDWARE was ultimately the deciding factor for a device for me and now I'm stuck paying almost $1000 for yet another device I ultimately do not want.

Hauled my sorry ass to Verizon the next morning. They said the charge thingy (technical term) was corroded. Usually occurs from water. This phone ain't been no where near water. They mentioned the shower. For Golly Ned's sake, I do not take my phone into the bathroom when I'm showering. Crap in a handbag. New phone issued. They said I would have it by 8 p.m. the next day. I was at 30% charged, and I was panicking. The new phone arrived at 8 a.m. the next day. I hauled my sorry ass to the store at opening (10 a.m.) with the new phone for them to transfer all my info. Mindy did it in no time flat. It would have taken me 17 hours, and I would have done it incorrectly. I continue to have ridiculously poor reception at my house. I return to the store. Ask to call the tech guys. They checked my residential location and found that I don't have a tower on all four quadrants. PLUS, I live at the bottom of a hill. COME ON FELLAS! It's 2016. I give 5 stars for accommodating my situation. But I still need to go outside to talk on my phone. I have considered numerous times changing carriers, but I've been with Verizon 27 years. If I'm going to get the same sorry awful reception, I'm stickin' with this.
