After in past years having my cars repaired at other body shops with long waits, sometimes weeks,…read more when my car was at those shops for body work, poor work done etc., it is an absolutely wonderful experien ce have my car repaired at Bob Theil's auto body shop. I have had my recent accident induced car body damages repaired at "Theil's"...with excellent results! BOB is very precise, thorough and beyond fair with his estimates.... Before dealing with Bob, I had my car body repaired at an auto body shop in Carbondale...a few weeks post repairs a clear covering over the paint started to bubble and peel... Thinking maybe there was a recall issue with my Honda Civic's paint ,I went to Burne Honda ,where I purchased my car..The service manager kindly looked at what was happening to the paint called Bob Theil and asked him to diagnose what .might have been the cause... Bob said yes and for me to go right over for him to evaluate my car's paint issues.... Bob evaluated what he saw and diagnosed a faulty prep job done on my cat before it was painted...So it was not a factory issue..... Bob did this favor for Burne Honda ( and ultimately me,) and did not charge for this.! Also the shop is immaculate , my car was done in such a timely manner, and looks GORGEOUS! I've cared for all of my cars and treated them all like a Ferrari GTO even if they were a Chevy Citation or a Honda CRX. I took pride in the care and detail of all of my cars. I've had others work on my cars but never lived up to the standards I've placed on my rides, till now! Carlos went beyond my expectations of level of detail! I thought I was anal about cleaning my cars! Before I handed over the keys to my baby we discussed practices and thoughts on car care. Carlos was checking all the boxes. Pre soak, soap foam cannon, rinse, clay bar, wax, etc. I felt confident he was going to do a killer job. Next day I picked up my car, holy sh*t! It looks better than when I picked it up from the dealer!!! I'm VERY impressed. First time in 30 years of owning and caring for my own cars I've met someone that surpasses my level of attention and detail. Obviously I will take ALL of my cars back to Carlos for detail work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
