I would never recommend this taxi service. The driver arrived on time for my pickup, however, his SUV reeked of cigarette smoke despite the no smoking sign on the door. The ride was miserable because the smell was nauseating me and hurting my throat. There was a bag of trash and some fast food cups in the backseat area where I was riding. The driver was going painfully slow and the trip that should take 15ish minutes took over 20 minutes. The best part of the ride was when he ran my credit card for the bill and added a tip for himself of $3.74. I only know this because I got a receipt emailed to me and I certainly wouldn't have left him a tip. I feel like that was certainly unethical and possibly illegal... Avoid at all costs. read more

From Bangor International Airport to Portland International Jetport 1. Note that the driver cruise control at 55 mph all the way while the speed limit is 65 mph. (plz pay attention and prepare extra time when you travel with this taxi service) 2. Take i-95 all the way. Longer travel distance compare with i-95+i-295 3. We asked the driver to take i-295, but he said he wants to save some toll. 4. It took us almost 3 hour, oh yeah, including stopping at a gas station, from Bangor to Portland airport, when there is NO TRAFFIC AT ALL. If you do not mind spending extra time on the road, this company might be OK for you. I will never use this company again. read more

This is the company that the Hollywood Casino Hotel arranged to pick us up to take us to the airport (we are an airline crew of 4). First of all they were late. Secondly, we were told it would be an SUV to accommodate us and all of our bags - it was not. A mini SUV maybe but 3 of us squished into the back seat. The worst part is it reeked of vomit, wet dog, sweat, and who knows what else - it was overbearing and made us nauseous. When we finally got to the airport (late) I told the driver he needed an air freshener at the very least and he responded he hadn't noticed a smell. (The only reason they are getting 1 star is because he loaded and unloaded my bag which is really heavy but I would have rather walked to the airport.) read more

The advertising is inconsistent to the actual service. This site is 6 miles from my home. I needed a taxi to take my granddaughter to work, right next to the 968 Main St location in Corinth. Driver said he didn't service the area and thought it funny I needed a ride. I am glad he said no. I wouldn't want my granddaughter riding to work with a freak anyways. My car had been in the shop for a few days and I needed a ride to My college. I figured I would contact this service because I was limited with my options, and I figured I wouldn't have to pay much with my school only being about a half of a mile from my apartment. The guy picks me up about 10 minutes late to begin with, so I already wasn't impressed. I would have walked to school but both of the straps on my backpack were broken. I get into the vehicle and immediately smell BO, cigarettes, and a strange musty smell. it was very unpleasant and the driver seemed to be oblivious, and his appearance was just the same. He was poorly put together with a ripped and holey shirt, and was wearing stained baggy sweatpants. he looked like he hadn't had a haircut or facial trim for about 10 years. As I'm sitting in the back seat, I observe the price meter on his dash board, and see the dollars slowly rising, no big deal-it was a reasonable price ($4.55) He drops me off at my college and I pull out my only bill, which happened to be a $10 bill. I asked the guy if he had change and He looked at me through his mirror with these sad puppy eyes and pathetically said with a sad voice: "Oh no...no I don't have change..I'm sorry I wish I had some change for you.." Knowing this was complete bull, I handed him the $10 bill and got out of the car, as I was already late for my class and was very irritated. As I'm walking into my college, I look back about 20 seconds later to see him still staring at me while I walked, which I found creepy, and felt unsafe. DO NOT go through this taxi service, they will rip you off, and you might even get sick from the odors of the vehicle if you have a weak stomach. would not recommend. read more

I use this Taxi service occasionally when I go out in Bangor. Good service, Drivers seem to be normal for the most part. They use SUV's instead of small cars so it's really nice to have the extra room for 5 or 6 people. No problems at all with Rickshaw Taxi. read more
