Gwendolyn arrived well ahead of schedule, which immediately put my mind at ease. She was professional, friendly, and made the trip comfortable and stress free. Most importantly, she got me safely to the airport with plenty of time for my flight. Reliable transportation can make all the difference when you're traveling, and Gwendolyn exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely use her service again and highly recommend her to anyone needing transportation in the area. As an added bonus, I love supporting women owned businesses, and Gwendolyn is a great example of why. Thank you for the excellent service!

Beautiful clean lake, great sunsets, good bass fishing and a quiet lake where you can listen to the loons calling. Not much motor boat traffic, which we liked. We really enjoyed our stay there, nice site, quiet campground and happy to meet the new owner (Andy), who was very friendly and helpful. Russ T

I feel a little confused after reading the good reviews, but our stay was mediocre. The tent site…read morewas wonderful. Tall trees that blocked out sun. Loons calling to go to sleep to. Picnic table and firepit. Only thing that would make site better would be a grill across pit for cooking. But the negatives were that ladies room out of toilet paper all weekend and no one filled it. Mens room under construction and unavailable, with no notice before booking! So called store had very little and wouldn't have mattered as office/store never open when posted. Sold out of firewood by Saturday morning. If management issues resolved, would be a great place.

This airport is genuinely impressive for a place with only seven gates. Security moves quickly,…read morestaff are friendly, and the terminal has far more food options than you'd ever expect from a small regional airport. It's one of those rare small terminals where you can grab something decent without feeling like you're settling. But then you head toward Gate 7. The moment you round that corner, the aesthetic shifts dramatically -- suddenly you're in a space that looks like a bus terminal waiting room from the 1980s, complete with bright lighting that shows off every inch of the well‑worn linoleum tile. And the narrow corridor that passes for the Gate 7 waiting area fills up fast, giving off the vibe of a crowded community‑services line where everyone is just trying to squeeze in and wait their turn. It's functional, but it's definitely the least polished corner of an otherwise great airport. Still, the overall experience is smooth, efficient, and surprisingly well‑equipped. For a small airport, it delivers a genuinely pleasant travel day -- quirks and all.

The pull-out sofa only pulled out once, and then could never be pushed back in. Ugh. I wish they would update the place lately, as if they did I'd have no problem paying 80 or 90 a night for this location but it would have to be 1995-vintage or butter.....

My wife & I couldn't find a hotel, for a reasonable price, to lay our heads for just the night, because were the last minute, middle of the night, kind of people. We gave them a call to be sure they're open, & they answered (both times) around midnight & one in the morning, & we're greeted pleasantly, rather than hatefully like all the others we had tried. The lobby is behind the motel, in the owner's mud room of their house, you'll see a little neon "open" sign where you enter. I found it very comforting. Our room was laid out very nicely, & uniquely unoridinary, almost like a small 1 bedroom apartment. You're actually booking a small suite. The room had all the amenities one might need. They have an old A/C unit in the bedroom, that looks like an antique from the 1800s, when we turned it on, it sounded like the unit was screaming at me. I would advise that would be replaced, in the near future.. The interior is a little outdated (panel board, older yet unique appliances) but welcoming & clean regardless. The location isn't exactly ideal, but we've been to a lot worse.
