After sending a technician out twice, Stewart's decided to send me an even better dishwasher rather than wait for Bosch to try to repair it again. I love my new dishwasher and am very grateful for Stewart's making the situation right! I also bought a washer and dryer from Stewart's and love the appliances! Pam made the sale easy, the delivery was seamless and the products are perfect! I will be back for a refrigerator soon! Finally, a water leak was the final straw and we headed up to Stewart's on Cleveland Street to look for a new one. We found the right size, style and and features in a beautiful black Maytag French door model. We were assisted by Brody who was extremely knowledgeable about the features of each refrigerator we looked at. No pressure, just help! We wrote up the order and delivery was scheduled for the following Saturday. The following Thursday, however, our nearly 25 year old washing machine broke down. Upon weighing the cost as well as the advantages/disadvantages of repairing an old washer, we decided to buy. Limited by the size in the depth of the machine we shopped on-line, taking print outs of some that seemed to work out for our needs and headed to the store on Friday morning. As with our first visit to the store, the salesman, Tom, helped us find the size we needed and was extremely knowledgeable about the features of the washing machine. As we wrote up the sale, he was able to get the washer on the same truck as the refrigerator and we got both appliances the very next morning. About delivery; it was fantastic. The two men were efficient, friendly and also knowledgeable about the two appliances, going over everything with us to answer any questions we might have. I love my two new appliances that work they way they should and the great care of everyone at Stewart's! I just can't say enough about our good neighbor and independent, family owned business of 79 years.

I purchased a chain saw and it does what they said, cuts quickly and easily. The service department is fast but did not address my problem with leaking chain saw blade oil. They said had unit sitting in one place for 2 days and not a drop, I get it home and within 1 day have a small puddle underneath the blade by the housing. Did not go back to argue with them, I now store the unit on top of a cardboard box to soak up the oil!

The company shipped a new globe promptly and charged only for the cost of the lamp. Later last year the photocell of that outdoor lamp stopped working. I contacted the company, and a new photocell was shipped to me at no cost. This year I dropped the globe of a smaller outdoor lamp. Again a new globe was shipped to me free of charge. My contact person for all the interactions was Beverly Murphy. This is outstanding and entirely unexpected customer service. I give this company a top rating and highly recommend it.
