The first step before anyone does an alignment is to do a quick check on all the connection joints that affect a wheel alignment. They said that I need to have the ball joint replaced. Ok, I wanted to do that work myself. What was disappointing is they said the $55 for the time looking at the car, wouldn't be deducted from the $125 charge for the frontend alignment when I return. In the front end alignment write up, they indicated it included the inspection of front end components. Very sketchy!

I took my car up for an oil change and a quick inspection of my car. Hours later, I receive a call that it was going to cost me 3,500 dollars to fix my car. They take my car down from the rack and when I went to leave my car had a rock when I turned my steering wheel side to side. I asked them to put my car back on the rack to check it out and i stayed there with my baby while my husband went to pick up our older child from school. They waited for my husband to leave so they could approach me about paying for the job after my husband said no. I paid for an oil change and took my car somewhere else for a second opinion. Come to find out, the oil change was never done and the only thing they got right were the bad ball joints. They wanted to charge me for an entire front end repair when there was nothing wrong with my car. My husband goes back in to confront them for not doing the oil change and they wanted to deny the evidence we had. Then they tried to tell us we were charged for a deep inspection of the car. We didnt ask for a deep inspection. We asked for and oil change and the free quick inspection. I contacted their customer service department and trying to voice my complaint, talking to them reassured me that they really couldn't care less about the customers that keep that place in business and really dont care how there employees are. I will never bring my car back to this place. This place is the poster child of "never trust a mechanic"

I had an accident where my car was destroyed, undrivable, scrap metal. Don's Towing was assigned and what a mistake! They towed my car and within 24 hours my usless car remnants cost me $570 to retrieve. $70 for 2 days (but somehow less than 24 hours there) $25 to type in my car's info to their computer $225 For the accident tow $80 to let another company through the gate to retrieve $125 clean up - arguably much was already done by fire department before any tow truck arrived $45 battery disconnect - already done by fire department They "generously" offered to charge me $375 for them to keep my car for themselves AND then sell it to a scrap yard for more profit. Funny, the scrap yard is paying me $350 plus they picked it up from this place. Obviously this all still cost money but I got a way better deal by having another towing company finish the transaction. In short, while you're disoriented from an accident that almost takes your family, be sure the first thing you do is say no to Don's Towing.
