I have had Ricks Appliance and out for a refrigerator that continue to leak from the indoor water dispensing area. The two gentlemen that came out were very professional and courteous and explained the possible options where the problem may lie. I opted to have them replace the filter cartridge as an attempt to see if it will fix the problem. Took about a week to get the part in. They returned and installed it when they said they would. It fixed the problem for a while but unfortunately the leak has returned and now I am simply getting a new fridge. I am now calling them out for a top load laundry washer that is also starting to leak at times when being run. Called today and they will be out tomorrow. read more

I took my oven door apart to clean the glass on the inside. I could not get it all back together after I did so. I called Rick's Appliances because they were in my neighbor hood. What a team of wonderfully caring people that are there. I am unemployed and was working on a budget so I asked if I could bring my oven door into the shop to save a service call. I would add that this all occurred near Xmas so they were busy. They called me two days later informing me my door was all put together and ready for pick up. I scheduled an appointment for dishwasher repair. The technician called and said he would arrive in 15 minutes. After one hour I tried to call him but got voicemail. I left a message. After another half hour I called the main number. I was told that he tried calling me twice, that he was at the gate and they would not let him in. First of all, there is no gate in my community. Second, I was by the phone the entire time and received no call. Turns out he was at the wrongf community. So they wanted me to wait another 5 days for a reschedule because he went to the wrong address. NO THANKS! That is terrible customer service never mind that he tried calling me twice was a lie. read more

We had a couple of guys come to look at our fridge. After they left it leaked water all over the floor. When they came back, there was no water on the floor because it had been cleaned up and turned off. They came back, said they didn't know where the leak was and even implied it may have been something I did. They left, I called back because it was still leaking all over the kitchen. They came back and finally looked inside the fridge where they were the day before and supposedly fixed the leak. I have absolutely zero confidence in this company and will be looking elsewhere if I need any repairs. I suggest everyone do the same. read more

My Frigidaire dispenser wasn't working. Adam came into my home and said I needed a new water line and a new dispenser. I paid him the @ $70 diagnostic fee, but didn't want him to come back. My opinion was that it wasn't an old fridge and my instincts made me leary. Easpecially when he said it would cost @ $300 to fix. I called and asked for Rick to come by because his ad as a retired navy vet was what made me consider them in the first place. He came with a helper. They pulled the fridge from the wall (which Adam never did) and determined that there wasn't water flow. After a few minutes they got water flow and hooked up the line again. ($179.) is a high cost. He couldn't seem to be able to get a flow going from the dispenser. Said it was going to need a new panel and then left with his helper. After they left the dispenser was working perfectly. The setting was on ice dispense when he left and had to be moved to water dispense. Of course no water will dispense when the setting is on ice dispense. I called and told Luke (who answers the office phone) the dispenser was working properly and was glad it was fixed. No panel needed. Then Rick called and I told him it was working properly. He said "That's insane!" and those panels sometimes work and sometimes don't. My water is great. Don't ever want Rick's appliance service again. My friends recommend others. Internet search shows it to be @ $50 repair. and Rick said it would cost $179. read more

I never really do reviews but today I had the worst service from two employees. They never called to say the were on their way and when they arrived they just walked in. When I asked a few questions about the recall they acted annoyed that I even asked. On top of that they weren't getting along with each other and the one guy kept rolling his eyes when the other was talking. They had the nerve to leave a card and say they can work on other appliances. I wish you could give less than one star! read more
