I've been a patient of Dr. Tucker having 2 bunioneictomies many moons ago. I brought both of my kids in for ingrown toenails when they were 10 & 14...Now they're 34 & 38! I've referred many friends & family over the years, and they've all been happy w/Dr. Tucker. He has a warm personality, and has never "rushed the appointment!" Dr. tucker gave me a cortisone shot in my foot.He was friendly but hit a nerve which was extremely painful.He then asked if i wanted some foot pads to help relieve pressure and i said yes.He gave me 12 small ones in the exam room and when I went out to the front office i was told they would cost me $15.00. Dr. Tucker never mentioned any cost of the pads earlier and gave the impression they would be no charge. I told the M.A. I assumed they were no charge when Dr.Tucker walked up.He stated insurance didn't pay for them then said and I quote,"If you can't pay for them, just take them for free then." I will not be seeing him again! Also, his front office staff are not trained and unprofessional. I was also asked to pay a $50.00 copay charge at the end of my visit until i reminded them i have a secondary insurance carrier. read more

Hands down one of the best medical professionals out there. Everything from scheduling an appointment to the office staff, to Dr. Tucker himself, I was just so impressed with everything and everyone. The entire team really makes you feel like you're their number one patient. Dr. Tucker is top-notch; best bedside manner ever! I don't know why, but I trust the guy. Maybe it's because we went to the same high school....or the fact Dr Tucker cured my plantar fasciitis. Not to mention, he was always available for questions I had without taxing me on another visit charge. Street parking is rough, but it's possible within the immediate area, and definitely worth it. Of course there is a convenient structure to park in, first level parking is usually available and it's not very expensive. Only a few bucks for parking in the structure. I will keep him as my Dr as long as my feet need pampering. read more

I had the worst ingrown toe nail. The doctor was extremely good and knowledgeable about the procedure to remove my ingrown. I had to say that I recommend this place and doctor to anyone. The front staff was friendly as well. Highly recommended. In regards to parking, they have a parking structure on site which makes it very convenient but keep in mind that they only accept cash to pay. Great job! read more

Update on the office... I paid a co-pay when I arrived for my initial visit. A month later I received a bill for my treatment, which did not include my co-pay payment (the check was cashed). I mailed in the payment with a note stating that the earlier check was not deducted from the balance due and I am paid in full. Another month passed and another bill! They did not include the payment initially received!! Really? I left a voice mail message for the office, letting them know I am paid in full and to call me with any questions. I received a missed call a few days later from their office, with no voice mail message left. Very unprofessional, office and inefficient. Will never ever ever go back here!!!!!!!!! read more

Absolutely kind & professional! I was referred to Dr. Tucker by my vascular specialist and I'm super grateful for it. I went in for a mass on my foot, and after a year of pain and discomfort and ugly compression socks, Dr. Tucker treated the problem during the same (first!!) visit. He was funny and light-hearted, gentle, spared me a hefty MRI bill, and sent me on my way home with extra bandages. Until Friday, August 12, I was a fan of Tucker, as he had treated my wife very effectively. I came to his office with an ulcer on the pad of a toe on my foot. He examined me briefly, wrapped the toe in gauze, told me he would call in 2 scripts, and scheduled a follow-up in a week. He warned me that it was infected and if it got worse, go to the emergency room. I then left around 2:30 PM. I drove to my pharmacy where they told me only 1 script had been called in (ointment); the other an antibiotic was not called in. I called Tucker's office immediately, but there was no answer at 3PM (office closes at 3:30 PM). I left a message, but have yet to receive a call-back or explanation. Since I was concerned about infection, I called my family physician and he called in the antibiotic on the spot. Today, August 15, I visited my family physician who immediately took a culture to determine the bacteria of the infection and prescribed Domeboro soaks to improve the toe, in addition to ointment and antibiotics. He also had me take an xray of the toe in case the bone was involved. If you have read this far, it is clear that Tucker was more interested in his weekend than my health. read more

I visited Dr Tucker's office several months ago for excrutiating pain in my left foot. His staff was pleasant and accomodating. His exam was detailled and thorough: he gave all the time I needed as a patient. His diagnosis was accurate and his treatment plan prompt and effective. I was back on my feet in no time, and have not had recurrences. His charges were appropriate, and he took my insurance. He makes you feel very comfortable and after listening to me for a long time he said "don't worry I am going to help you and make sure you get better". I generally don't write reviews but Dr. Tucker is such an outstanding Dr. that I wanted to give a 5 star review to to him and his staff. I have to concur with Fred B. review on all fronts. I have had Plantar Fasciitis for a good year now and it has started to interfere with my life so I came across Dr Tucker researching for Podiatrist in my area and bingo I made the right choice. After almost 2 months of care I am on the mend and it would not be so if it were not for Dr. Tucker's care. He took the time to listen to understand my concerns and then recommended the medical course of treatment which he thought best suited my condition. I broke my toe and was advised to see a foot specialist as soon as possible. After calling around to a dozen or so podiatrists in my area who were all too busy or unmotivated to accommodate my emergency until at least a week later, I finally reached out to Dr. Tucker. His staff was very friendly and got me in that same day. Dr. Tucker was probably the nicest doctor I've ever met, AND he's a surfer, too! He took x-rays of my foot and totally took care of me. I truly wish all of my doctors were like him. This was my first visit to him and god forbid I ever have another foot problem, I will not go to anyone else.
