We recently purchased a condo in Surf City, and ran into trouble with our first mortgage broker…read more The condo association didn't dot all the 'i's and cross all the 't's the way Fannie Mae wanted to see them. The mortgage was declined as not meeting their standards, despite our 800+ credit ratings and being financially far over-qualified. Our realtor found Bill Moore, and it was smooth sailing from there. Bill knew the problem, and had a solution. Cunningham & Company doesn't sell their mortgages, so federal rules for conformity don't apply -- just financial good common sense. Bill & Cunningham are a gem to work with -- unlike so many other mortgage lenders, they don't worry you to death about fiddly-bits that have no bearing on your ability to bear the mortgage. If you need a mortgage, call Bill. You can't go wrong!

We had gone to our credit union with no success, Denise called me and when I told her we had gone to the credit union she said: "you don't want to do that, you want to use us and the homes for Heroes program" (I work in law enforcement). I entertained her offer and I'm so glad that I did! I know I can be a pain more often then not, she stuck by me through all my irrational wishes. She set me up with a realtor who was amazing and always dependable. While we didn't end up in the fixer upper that we wanted (to our benefit, I assure you) we got a great home that's everything we could have asked for and more! She was also able to help us adjust our credit a little and we got a great rate on a house that would have originally been over budget and even got our monthly payment to be under budget!! If you're home shopping I highly suggest you start at First Mortgage! And if you're already shopping with another broker, go see what she can do for you before signing anything!

It's going to be hard not to sound like I am exaggerating because I was so very pleased and…read moregrateful for Kevin's service. I honestly don't think I've ever received this level of service and care for anything, let alone a real estate transaction. There are too many positive things to relate in this review. We had (to me at least) a complex out of state purchase/move and I contacted Kevin (recommended to me by a trusted source) months ahead of our target time. Our budget was very modest, but Kevin spent an extraordinary amount of time and effort on us. He was even corresponding to us during his long planned family vacation. Without going into details...we hit a MAJOR snag (beyond Kevin's control) with the seller not making the necessary and significant repairs before final walk-through. We were panicked but Kevin assured us he would help us and get things worked out. Kevin calmly and professionally contacted the seller and encouraged him to get moving on the agreed upon repairs. He also personally went by the house multiple times to check on the progress. I don't know what all he said and did but mountains were moved in two short days. I honestly could not see another realtor doing all he did for us. Make no mistake...I have very high (old school) customer service expectation...but I almost feel like we (inadvertently) took advantage of him...the cut he got for our transaction was measly...but it didn't matter to him. He's an incredibly dedicated and talented professional and clearly loves his work. Kevin has an awesome team too...they reflect his dedication and professionalism. Kevin/Team: Thank you so very much for helping us with this major life event. We will be eternally grateful.

Chelsea narrowed down our likes and dislikes quickly and helped us find the perfect home for our family. She knows how to negotiate and led us in the right direction to beat two other offers on the house of our dreams. I felt like I was possibly being a little demanding, having a history as a real estate agent's daughter. But Chelsea was personable and never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. She always made time to show us homes and discuss the details and fine print with us. I always felt like she was being upfront and honest. I would definitely go through her again to buy another home (investment property, anyone!?). I would also highly recommend her to family and friends. I recently recommended her to a friend and she sold his house in hours!!
