Moved to the area recently and it sucks trying to find a new barber after going to the same person for 20+ years. Found Richs Barber Shop, Kristin and will keep on returning. She's unbelievable and is so precise with her cuts. I got many compliments on my cut. read more

Quick, professional and reasonably priced... would recommend to all. Appointments or walk ins welcome.

Based on all the positive reviews, my husband stopped at this establishment. Walk in's are welcome? I think not. He wasn't even acknowledged when he walked in. He waited a bit and yet - nothing. It was only as he walked out that a customer said "make an appointment online". At that point the owner handed him his card. Why??? Are you special if you make an online appointment instead of being there in person? The owner was at the first chair. SMH I can see they are doing so well they can see cash walk out the door. read more

They allege that "walk ins welcome" I've tried twice and was told each time that they didn't have time to do what I needed, and offered to make me an appointment. This despite a barber sitting alone unoccupied. No trying a third time. read more

Stopped by on a Friday afternoon. Had to wait about 45 minutes to get in a chair. Well worth the wait. This place takes me back to days of youth going to the barber shop with my old man. I hated it then, but really enjoyed it this time. Beats the socks off of chain stores by far and not any more expensive for a great cut. Overheard barber chatter that Saturdays are always busy, with Friday being a close second. Explains my wait. Everyone trying to look fresh for the weekend. If you're still reading this, go get in your car and stop by. You won't regret the investment in time or money to get a clean cut and great value. I've felt awesome the rest of the day. Good people, good chair talk and decent price. Now, to fix whatever the heck it is that was playing on the TV. read more

This is an old-fashioned barber shop tucked away in a little strip shopping center on the north side of Gallatin Pike. There are three barbers, all of whom are very skilled. Milton is the current owner/operator, and he is unfailingly friendly and an outstanding barber. There is a row of clean, comfortable leather seating if you have to wait, a flat screen TV and WIFI, and always an interesting conversation to join in on or just listen. They'll give you a hot shave, a neck shave, trim your eye-brows, whatever. This is the kind of place you wish you'd been going to all these years. If you're tired of the chain restaurants, or the female-dominated salons that are so common and want an old-fashioned barber to give you the right cut, this is the place to go. Haircut only $13. read more

Rich's Barber Shop - Barbers Near Me - Gallatin, Tennessee

Very awesome place. Kristin gave me a fresh blade. And was amazing. She cut my odd shaped head exactly how I wanted it. The barber shop has plenty of space , the prices are very affordable. Give them a shout !!! read more

Went into the shop a couple a months ago at 4:30 and a girl reluctantly gave me a mediocre haircut, she was ready to be off work. I walked in today at 12:15 and there's no one in the shop but a guy reading a magazine who tells me everyone's at lunch. Needless to say, I've been to more welcoming shops. read more

Best barber shop in Gallatin! They can give you the haircut you want! Pleasant and professional staff! I recommend them highly!

One of the best barbershop I have had the pleasure of using. Super clean very friendly stylist. Shave and a haircut for less than you would pay at one of the chains and your helping support local. Diffinetly my new spot. read more

Took a chance on this shop after not having a barber since moving back to TN several years ago. Loved it. Nice staff that take their time (I got a cut and a shave) but are still efficient (I was done in about 30 minutes even with the wait included). They had several TVs all tuned to Comedy Central which was a plus, and the decor was fun; sort of old school mixed with pop culture stuff. They also take cards, so don't sweat it if you aren't carrying cash. Will be coming back for sure. read more

Incredibly fast service with an even better haircut. Mike did a great job and had me in and out in no time. This is the best haircut I've had since living in the Nashville area. Definitely glad a friend suggested I try them out. It reminds me of the barbershop I went to as a kid with my dad. Friendly faces and a quality cut. read more

This place is awesome! They were very patient while giving my 3 year old (who didn't want his hair cut) a cute updated hairstyle. These guys were very fast and friendly! read more

Fast service, friendly people, and a cool old school vibe. It has been forever since I've been into a Barbershop vs. a salon or franchise haircut chain (where the number of haircuts in an hour is valued over an actual good quality haircut). And when I say fast service I mean I didn't have to wait, not that my haircut was rushed so they can get the next person in the chair. The price is right and is competitive with chain salons, where in my experience you get a good haircut half the time, and the other half is a roll of the dice at best. I'm not trying to bash chain salons, I'm only sharing my personal experience over the years. I'm glad I found Douglas Barbershop, being that I need to look presentable to my real estate clients 100% of the time, a good haircut is one less thing for me to worry about. read more

The shop is clean, appealing, reasonably priced, and has top notch barbers! It does get busy, but arriving at non-peak hours is the key to a speedy cut. The service is always friendly, attentive to needs/desires, and has televisions and ample reading material while you wait! GREAT shop!!! read more

Good cut, good atmosphere, TV while you wait. Barber knicked by neck a bit on the neck shave but all else was great. Will go back.

I am a senior in college and I have been getting my haircut at rich's barbershop since I was 10 years old I've never gone anywhere different for a reason. There is no place I would recommend more to get a haircut, shave, or have conversations with awesome people. read more

This is the real deal barber shop. Friendly, funny and extremely talented. I wear a flat top and it is very difficult to get someone to get it right on the first try but Milton was up to the task. I whole heartedly recommend this shop. read more
