As it turned out I had to go into my orthos office to get the script but that was not a problem. Two days later I get a phone call from the office manager who was not there on the day in question and advised me that they no longer will keep me on as a patient since I went against protocol and used their telephone to call my orthopedic . I did not walk behind anyone's desk and just pick up a phone, I stood on the other side and asked them to dial the number for me and also the therapist gave me their fax number so my doctor could fax the script over. If that is against company policy of a patient using their phone, then it was the responsibility of the receptionist and/or the therapist to tell me so and I would've made the phone call from my car. Sounds crazy but it's the gods honest truth.
