From the beginning it was obvious that Leon's had a process. They took a lot of notes and asked a lot of questions. I really did not know what I wanted, but I knew I wanted to uplift my look with some new branding. I was changing my name from Old School Pizza and Suds (I am across the street from UTA and these kids didn't know what Suds were often saying subs) to Old School Pizza Tavern. They took my vision and made it art. When Leon's first said their design team came up with an 8 foot tall beer can I was floored. It was the best idea I had ever heard. They put a lot of thought and imagination into the deal. They kept me updated with the process of the sign giving me comfort that the large check I used to put down was in good hands. They communicated with me through the whole process from getting the city to approve to when the delivery would happen. The team, led by Greg, showed up and were very professional. They took great care in everything they did to make sure I went from old boards to a magnificent sign. Sheena coordinated the project, and Linda in graphics provided excellent guidance throughout the process. Sheena was incredibly responsive, and Linda patiently explained CMYK versus RGB colors and how they affect printing. Their expertise and attention to detail made the process much easier. I also highly recommend ordering a hard-copy proof before approving your print run--it's so helpful to see everything in person! Very reasonably priced. The team was very patient and understanding when I needed extra time to get answers from my boss. The finished cards turned out beautifully, and we love the soft-touch finish. I am the marketing person for my fathers business. he ordered a couple of signs without me seeing…read moreand he couldn't even see them on the computer, he had me download them just to see them! they weren't the best or his look at all. I called Tina just to make sure the signs were printed and if we couldn't change them. they were already printed, fine, but I was trying to get ideas for the next sign and all I was told was that I need to send in whatever I wanted and they would print it... well that's fine but aren't they the designer? She got VERY rude and when I asked to talk to a manager she told me she was the owner and I couldn't talk to anyone else. she also kept saying that we had to pay for the signs! I didn't mind paying for the signs, I did though ask for pictures of the "printed" signs to make sure they had already been printed which I still haven't received. When my mother got on the phone and told her she was the wife we heard "oh good" which was a dismissal to me. she further said we couldn't have a discount which is fine, we were going to pay for those signs, not a big deal. my problem lies in trying to tell her what our look was and giver ideas and how we can get other signs made. by the end of the conversation I asked why she was being rude in which she turned to her employees to ask if she was being rude and said she has another customer in front of her why would you talk to me on the phone like that with another customer in front of you?) and she would send me the pictures of the "printed" signs after she was through with them. yet I still haven't received them. She then gets off the phone with me, calls my father, he calls me upset that I had "made her cry" and also that he doesn't have to pay for the signs! so when I call her to apologize and make things better, one of her employees answers and I am told that "she doesn't want to talk to me right now" and "she will only talk to my father" and on the subject of unprofessionalism "shes the owner and is allowed to be unprofessional and talk to whoever she wants" I was calm toned the entire time and to me a business should WANT to work things out and keep a customer! VERY VERY BACK HOME COUNTRY BULL SHIT if you ask me! WE WILL NOT BE USING THEM EVER AGAIN! and if she was smart enough to print a sign that my kids could draw then she should be smart enough to know the internet is your enemy if your stupid enough to be unprofessional to ANY customer apart of any business your doing business with!! Why not just try and hear my input? She got butt hurt if you ask me!
