It was the perfect sweet treat to warm me up on chilly winter afternoon. The cafe also featured a very cute book cellar that had the neatest items!! You can definitely tuck-away in this cafe to get work done, you can meet with friends for a coffee date, or even just chill and have a cup of coffee, a pastry and indulge in a nice book. Quiche - 2* my least favourite. I was really excited for this one and had high expectations. Unfortunately it was a thin and chewy quiche and lacked flavor. Fried pie (strawberry rhubarb) - 2* I wasn't a fan. The syrup was too gelatinous and lacked the flavor I'm used to when you have strawberry rhubarb. The inside looked like the syrup you get when you add too much cornstarch to thicken up fruit sauces. It didn't taste like cornstarch though so no worries there. Glazed donut - 3.5* (my partner says 4*) these are half priced if they're a day old. They heat them up for you if you want, which we did. It was alright but still good for being a day old. I'd choose fresh if it was available though.
