Richie's insulation just installed gutters on our garage in Tiverton and cleaned the house gutters as well. It was a first class experience all the way. Tiffany in the office is a consummate professional who really gets what customer service is all about. The owner (Richie himself!) came to the house to make sure that everything was up to snuff. The installers, Jorge & Derek, were fantastic, very polite, efficient and meticulous. Great company and great experience! read more

Terrible experience with this company. Not only were they rude and unprofessional, including Richie himself but their employees had no knowledge of what was to code and tried to cut corners by NOT getting an inspection done that was needed. We had to tell THEM multiple times what was needed where and what was to code. When they were finished at our property they did not clean up after themselves and they damaged property. When trying to explain this to Richie he disregarded everything and then proceeded to enter our house without our approval. Richie didn't even let us speak when on the phone with him but instead just yelled at us and stated that he was going to his lawyer if we didn't pay. They give you a quote for one price and then when the bill comes it's three times what the quote was for and if you question it they threaten you until you pay the bill. Seriously stay away and find someone else. read more

I wish every company was like this one! richie and his employees are amazing! they went above and beyond. after they came (almost a year ago, sorry late review) and insulated our attic, we had frozen pipes still, after a few revisits it was determined that our outer walls were not properly insulated due to another contractors error. other contractor ghosted us and Richie was so upset by that he had his employees come over and fix at no charge. need I say more??? but I will anyway. that is what a kind person he is. can anyone remember anyone doing something for nothing, just from the good of his heart? also great price and he stands behind his employees work read more

My gutter where overflowing! Had not had them cleaned in four years. Shopped around and decided to go with Richie's insulation to have gutter guards installed. They gave me great pricing and squeezed me in quick. Staff were very accommodating. Job was well done and I am so happy I don't have to have my gutters cleaned anymore! read more

We were referred by our GC for this company and of all the subcontractors that we worked with they were by far the worst. Sloppy, indifferent, ignorant and arrogant when addressed. They missed a lot of insulation; gaps in the attic, whole areas missing by the basement door. Recently unknown to me, they were again sub-contracted to my horror to replace gutters damaged by the storm last winter and not only was it poorly installed but they didn't bother to put the new gutters close to or over the old screws and even left the old screws in the vinly as an eyesore. Their truck slogan preaches something altogether not at all followed by their actual workmanship. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone PS: See two pictures as a minor example as I largely addressed the more glaring issues read more

I was recommended to them by my contractor. The contractor who I have used for the past 10 years on multiple projects and gets 5 stars every time for effort and courtesy. Someone came out and priced thr job thst day, and got a quote the next Scheduled job, no show no call. There was no sense of urgency to set my mind at ease and I had to call 6 hours later because I still hadn't gotten a call. I asked then when are they coming? they said sometime tomorrow. Um, what? Your mistake and now I'm treated like I'm the one who needs to sit and wait around for a commodity that's a dime a dozen? Don't think so! I dont need to pay top dollar and be abused. Save your time and skip to the next listing. read more

Horrible run business. The workers were nice enough just foreign guys doing what they are told. The others lied, said Work was done when it wasn't. Said a finish date and hadn't even started on that date. Also told them not to do basement multiple times and they did it anyway. Horrible experience. read more

We had a positive experience dealing with our older home needing some updates on insulation. The various crews for different projects were all responsible and nice people. They juggle a lot of different jobs and managed to fit us in for our convenience. The woman who runs the office is totally on top of things. Overall pleased with quality of work and what we accomplished here. read more

I needed insulation work done ASAP before the weather got really cold, and Richies seemed to offer the fastest time frame for me so I decided to go with them. They had a guy come out the same day I called to give me an estimate, but when it came time to schedule the work to be done things took a turn. I called the main office and was given the number for the guy who came and gave me the estimate, who I was told would get me scheduled. After calling him multiple times I finally got a hold of him and he told me I would have to wait until the next day to schedule work since he was not in the office. I then proceeded to call him multiple times a day, every day, only to have my calls go unanswered and my messages go unresponded to. This went on for roughly a week and a half, before I finally managed to get ahold of someone at the main office again, who assured me they would leave a hard copy of my estimate with my phone number in the reps office so he would call me ASAP when he got in. Surprise surprise, I never heard from the rep and have since moved on to other contractors to do my work. This business is extremely unprofessional, avoid using them. read more

Richie's Insulation is a poorly run business that does not communicate within the organization or with its customers. I was given multiple dates that service was supposed to be completed with no call to let me know they were not coming. The owner is rude and unprofessional. He called me looking for payment for a job they did without my knowledge AFTER I cancelled it. He threatened to put a lien on my property stating I would be dead and buried but someone would pay. He then swore at me and hung up. Do NOT do business with this man! read more

Terrible business. They stole copper ground wire from my jacuzzi tub, they stole a work stool from an electrician ( he got it back because I called when they were on their way back to the shop and the kid said he thought it was theirs! REALLY!?!?!?). They also did the gutters and down spouts on my house and they leak like a siv! If I could put a -5 star review I would. They don't even deserve 1 star. Stay away from Richie's insulation. read more

I made an appointment with salesman Ed from Richie's to have him blow me off with no call or anything. I called his number with no response and no return call even after leaving him a voice mail. I was finally put in touch with him the next day and he agreed to reschedule. My irritation with him must of showed thru and assume the reason he came back with an estimate three times retail cost so I am having it done by others for a fraction of his estimate. AVOID! read more

I built a new home and it was a great company to work with they were priced right and the service was great. They were on time.

Terrible customer service, I had them lined up a job for today , Friday June 12th 2015, we called them up because the line man wouldn't call us back for the last few days, the guy on the phone swore at me and told me to "take my job in shove it my ass" and then started calling us names. STAY AWAY!!!!! read more
