They don't answer calls, they don't return messages. I had to go up there everyday to get answers. They will lie repeatedly to you about when you vehicle will be done then when you get it back it will be messed up. My vehicle was in better shape before the accident. The paint doesn't match. They used a totally different white, they didn't connect wires back , blown taillight on a "new" taillight, they damaged my headliner also. They could care less about you or your car. It's basically a chop shop.

I explained to the guy that I've been wanting to have my car detailed for a while but my schedule is really crazy and I never know what I'm doing from day-to-day lately. he asked me if he could call me right back after he tried to work some things out on his schedule. He called me back within 5 minutes and said he would be over within the hour to detail my car. The guy who arrived (Adam) was prompt and nice. He had all of the equipment needed to clean my car including the water! He detailed my car from top to bottom inside and out. He also used a clay bar and cleaned all door jambs, shampooed the carpet, clean all of the seats with leather cleaner and special moisturizer, detailed around all of the vents and even fixed a spot that was on my carpet. He charges less than a big car washes that detail and he will come directly to you. I'll never go to a big car wash chain again. This experience was great and allowed me to stay home to get some chores done. I will definitely have him back again in the future. My car looked brand-new when he was done with it and it is 2 years old!

It wasn't major, and didn't want the claim on my insurance. The estimate was a third of what another body shop not far from A-1 had quoted. Jim had my vehicle for two days, compared to the eight days required by said nearby competitor. Jim was personable, explained what he'd be doing to fix the issue, and provided a very reasonable estimate. Apprehensive at first, because as a consumer, in my mind, I assumed the work would be subpar at that price. But Jim was honest about the work, and the reason it would cost more at other body shops (When you go to him for a repair not covered by insurance, he'll tell you why). The finished work was beautiful....and on time, as promised!. No hidden costs or unexpected delays. My summation: Jim is an honest, professional, and personable businessman. He clearly has pride in his work, and I'd have to say; he's one classy dude! No wonder he's been in business for so long. Thank you Jim.

Jim stopped what he was doing to come out and talk to us and look at the car. The "extra" piece of car we brought with us (thinking it fell off at the accident scene) he told us was not from our car. The hood that I could not open, he opened, adjusted and said it was just fine (another shop said it "could" cost $700 to fix the hood) After spending 15 minutes with us Jim told us not to worry about the basic plastic (we could try to snap it in or just take it off) and that the car was just fine to drive. He has daughters himself and totally understood. THANK YOU JIM. I promise that if we really do need anybody work or have friends that need help we are sending them over to Jim at A-1 Auto Body.

Upon completion, my car detail guy told me to wait 45 days before cleaning or detailing to allow paint to completely cure. After 45 days I took and had detailed and my front bumper was completely peppered with small paint chips.....like 5-10x more than it had accumulated in the previous 140,000 miles combined! Returned it to the shop where manager expressed total indifference and said I had to have his paint supplier look at it to find out why it happened. 2 1/2 months later, I was still chasing the shop to get the paint guy to look at it. They offered little concern, and made excuse after excuse for paint guy. Ultimately had to have insurance co step in the get money back and take to another body shop to have properly repaired. Horrible experience, zero integrity or pride in their workmanship. Couldn't find one person in the entire shop who cared. Avoid!!
