The Mall didn't fully open until 11am. But really there isn't much to wait for. Not many things still left here! There is about 10-15 stores, a bath and body works, Hot Topics, Shoe Dept Encore, Belks, several stores can't remember their names, & Kay Jewelers. At least I was able to join some mall walkers to get in some steps.

Given the proximity to our home, we've been visiting here quite a few times. Aside from loving the easy location, I must mention that the best part of this strip is the lake and sitting areas located behind Spice Asian Kitchen, Napa and Taco Molino. The strip is impressive in size with a variety of restaurants...but honestly, it's not the most beautiful. All very brown, almost industrial...I'd say it's one of the most masculine looking shopping strips. The thing I don't like is how busy it is! By 5:45 pm, parking lots are packed...and the place is just a tad too busting at times...often with many kids. However, it has this near picturesque lake scene (complete with ducks, even a fake waterfall!) in the back that we really enjoy! If only there weren't office buildings behind that lake. :\ We usually get ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery after dining somewhere in this super-busy complex (So many restaurants here!), walk out to the lake, sit on one of their many comfy loungers and enjoy our dessert with a view. Makes for a relaxing time after any meal at this strip!

The store had tons of selection and a great variety of products, which was great! as I was trying on a couple different pieces, Merhawit was a tremendous help. She was giving me all the different sizes I needed, she helped me lace up a couple pieces, she even gave me advice for a fashion struggle I was telling her about! I felt like a valued shopper, and I will definitely be returning to get some help from my girl!

The weather was sketchy so I didn't think it would be too crowded but that was a bad call. The parking spaces are WAY too small! Larger SUV's taking two spaces & you can't blame them. I got to the store & made the exchange & got out of there PDQ!

However, I do like the variety of stores and in my case the only osh kosh and carter kids clothing stores in the area. There are multiple parking lots so finding a space has never been an issue. I came during thanksgiving/christmas and the decorations are very nice. They have signage for a variety of holiday events happening (pics of your dog and Santa etc). There is a food court, shake shack, and Starbucks. My kids love the small play structure. It is very small and probably only entertaining for kids 4 and younger. I appreciate the clean bathrooms inside the food court- especially the family restrooms which has a small toilet for kids.

He says "Hi, how are you?" Then he's still paying attention when you respond. Most people just say a greeting because they're required too. Bill's greetings are genuine! Most of the employees are rude, seriously oblivious to anything, and will run you down with huge carts if YOU don't get out of the way. Don't expect an "excuse me" or even eye contact. If you survive this, try the aisle blocking techniques of the local walkers, stalkers, and talkers who DARE you to try to get around them despite any common courtesy you may have initiated. They stand there and stare you down with every bit of hate they can send, and then make you go around the other way to get to the product right behind them. Usually this happens after church on Sunday. We won't even go. We go to KJ's and spend a few extra bucks and get excellent service and friendly people. Some of these places should be shut down, but good people need jobs.

Bank, Loft, a post office, Anthropologie and the Publix. The mall is in good condition. Easy access from Forest Drive through some folks are coming down that road at a heck of a pace. Florence doesn't have much to do, so Magnolia Mall is considered an attraction. The mall serves…read moremost of the Pee Dee area, so it gets a lot of foot and car traffic. Malls in general are dying, but on the day I visited- a few days before Christmas- it was packed! The traffic from I-95 helps too- if you are traveling through SC and need shopping, this Florence exit is the place to stop. Travelers staying in hotels also have store options (Belk, Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods) to buy whatever they may have forgotten or need. While Target isn't a mall anchor, it is just a short walk across the Belk parking lot. A lot of the typical mall stores I liked here have closed- Victoria's Secret, Express, Aeropostale. A lot of the newer mall stores are not my style but seem to be doing well for the demographics of this area. The Primo Pizza in the food court closed, but it still has Chick-Fil-A, Chinese Food, Charley's, and plenty of other options just down the road. What used to be JC Penney when I was growing up has been replaced with a huge arcade. I didn't go inside, but it's great that the mall has a place for folks to hang out, have fun, and be together, fostering friendships without necessarily buying stuff.

It's in very good condition and there are security lights. As it's new, the landscaping hasn't grown in very much which means that you can see all around.
