Normally when I go to WalMart, I travel to Newport. But one thing I really enjoy about Chester WalMart is Bill. He works in the grocery area. He goes above and beyond to greet customers. He says "Hi, how are you?" Then he's still paying attention when you respond. Most people just say a greeting because they're required too. Bill's greetings are genuine! This store has a few decent employees and some that are very friendly. Not the norm but is now just commonplace in our new society. I enjoy being able to go into a store and navigate around to find what I need. NOT in this location. I hate going here. Most of the employees are rude, seriously oblivious to anything, and will run you down with huge carts if YOU don't get out of the way. Don't expect an "excuse me" or even eye contact. If you survive this, try the aisle blocking techniques of the local walkers, stalkers, and talkers who DARE you to try to get around them despite any common courtesy you may have initiated. They stand there and stare you down with every bit of hate they can send, and then make you go around the other way to get to the product right behind them. Usually this happens after church on Sunday. We won't even go. We go to KJ's and spend a few extra bucks and get excellent service and friendly people. Some of these places should be shut down, but good people need jobs. read more

This place is anything but a supercenter. The service is terrible they are so slow and you can never find anyone when you need help. The attitudes on some of them are just awful. read more

ITS A WALMART. It's a Walmart. Standard Walmart. Long lines. Cheap prices. You can get some good deals here on more expensive items because not a lot of people in Chester buy expensive things so they go one sale a lot here. read more
