The produce section is beautiful offering many staple items and cauliflower as big as my head! The desserts are mind blowing, chocolate, fruit, cake, rolls, tarts, gluten free...all bases are covered here! There is even a soup stand with at least 6-8 selections, to-go foods both cold and warm. Lunch options, dinner options, snacks...it's all available there! Lastly the dog treats, they are homemade and brought in by the baker/owner of the small local business on a regular basis. Several items in the store are sourced locally and the prices are comparable to other stores, maybe a little more for specialty items. All team members encountered are willing to help and answer questions and everyone was smiling and in a genuine good mood. Rare! There is legit something for everyone and they are now on my weekly list of stops to make!

I wish i could leave more than 5 stars. Monticellos is by far the best meat market (and overall…read moremarket) in the area. They have an unbelievable selection of high quality meats, cheeses, soups, fresh foods, deli, condiments, breads, fresh produce, and beer and wine. The highlight for me is the meat counter specifically. There are always multiple employees asking if you need help with anything and making suggestions if you're unsure (especially when it comes to the snack sticks, jerky, etc). The hot soup bar is amazing as well. Hands down best soup(s) i have ever purchased at a market. There are too many other great things to mention. Monticellos will continue to be my Go-To for all of the above. Keep up the good work!

THIS place is my favorite place to shop and I go regularly. Great selection of meats plus pre marinated options. Curated selection of veggies, milk, eggs, cheeses, and dips. Highly recommend the discount meat rack, I picked up 2 Delmonico's for $6 yesterday. Quality of meat is exceptional, personally had wonderful meals with their chicken, steak, and pork. It looks so small but each option they have is excellent! Service has also been great, I was there Christmas Eve looking for marinade ingredients and couldn't find what I thought I needed. Chatted to one of men working and he made a sauce recommendation that is my new go-to. More importantly the mustard sauce marinade for my baked corned beef was the best I have ever tasted. Three ladies finished over 3.5 lbs of CB at Christmas Dinner

The prices aren't very good, and there really isn't much to the store: just a walk-in cooler, another refrigerator in the front, and a couple of shelves. They have few kinds of fresh meat, a few vegetables, a little bit of butter, some milk & frozen meat. That was about it. But, the people were very nice, and it was a nice day for a drive.

I LOVE Jerky but it has to be moist & tender - not the hard stuff. Anyway, I happened to pull into…read moretheir lot just to turn around and saw that they had jerky. Decided to park & go in to just see what they had. They were in a major remodeling process and once I walked in, I stopped in my tracks. OMG!! How neat!! The place carries anything & everything a person could or would need to make their own jerky, sausage, etc. You want seasoning? It's here!! You want speciality pots. pans, knives? It's here!! Now, they even carry fresh meats that are fantastic & they are poly packed. Vacuum sealed air tight! NEAT!!! And yes, they carry all kinds of jerky such as elk, venison, buffalo, chicken, turkey and naturally beef. Want it hard or soft? Got it! Want it spicy or just plain? They got it!! They also carry fish and different sea foods such as frog legs (yummy). You may have to take a leisurely drive here but it is well worth the trip. You won't be disappointed. One more thing. When you walk in - look up & around to see all the displays of animals mounted on their walls. They even have a few stuffed armadillos around.

They vacuumed packed the meat. Expertly trimmed the steaks and left no connective tissue that I saw. There was no hair on the meat. It was a delight to be able to use the meat right out of the package! Many places, when it gets busy just get so sloppy on the meat you get back. I had become so disgusted with the amount of work I had to do to re-trim the same meat that we already had paid to have done, that for a few years I made my hubby do his own processing. He gave this place a try and I was very doubtful. When he came home he was so excited to have a proper job done. Because of the clear vacuumed sealed packages of meat I could see the difference. I cannot recommend this place highly enough for deer processing.
