We tried a Cumby one town over for coffee on e Sunday when taking a drive and all I can saw is HOOKED! I have a favorite local coffee shop i get coffee from during the week but the are closed weekends and frankly the coffee at chains like Brueggers, Starbucks and Panera just doesn't do it for me for the price. Today, I stopped in this Cumby to see if they had the same great coffee set up as the neighboring town and they do!! It is bright and cheerful inside and VERY spacious. The coffee area is clean , well supplied and plenty of room for making your coffee just like you enjoy! What makes it for me is the free flavor shot which just elevates the coffee to a new level. And 99 CENTS?!?! Crazy! I'm a new fan and will definitely make this my weekend coffee stop!Nice job Cumby with the renovations and design! Very customer friendly!

I came here for the first time last month because it came well recommended by locals & also pays for advertisements at my place of work. The experience was entirely easy and as pleasant as car repair can be. It is located in a nice country setting, in the business area of Glastonbury on New London Turnpike. It has been family owned by local folks for many years. I spent quite a while speaking with John when he offered me a lift back home! A nice plus. Very nice. He is an especially great communicator & a nice guy. This is my second time here, and despite my glowing review, I hope not to make a habit if it! This place makes those inevitable breakdowns slightly less stressful. Update: I worked with Chris today. Very professional gentleman. Spent a good amount of time explaining and helping us understand. A far cry from the gearhead grease monkeys I've known in the past.

So this gas station has two entrances/exits, one adjacent to each road that surrounds it. There…read moreare pumps by each entrance with a walk-in store between them. The store is small but with chips, sodas, etc. However, what makes me sad about this particular location is there may not be a good way to go left in your natural lifetime. Both roads are very busy, and on exit comes out directly below a median. Use good sense and try to plan your departure with going right.

But... a dollar more per gallon? My cousins owned it once years ago, they never felt the need to price gouge. Its so ludicrously high that it almost seems they dont want any gas business. And since that tends to be the draw at such places... they dont want any potato chip business either. Weird business model. Almost sounds like a front. I did buy milk in there a few years back. So... here's one star.

However, I came to this location Wednesday September 12 at about 5:30 and left very upset at the unprofessionalism. I was attended by Bruce - white guy long brown unkept Hair with a matching brown handle bar mustache. I asked about Catherine (who always greeted me and was very helpful and was ALWAYS working). To which Bruce aggressively stated "She got fired because she didn't like showing up to work ... well, she got taken off the schedule." Regardless of how someone leaves whether it is on a good or bad note, it's extremely unprofessional and immature to be badmouthing past or current employees. All he had to say was "She no longer works here". Bruce seems very gossipy and negative which can create a negative work atmosphere. He also should take some customer service 101 - greet customers like Catherine did. I always walked out with a smile on my face when she was there.
