Typically, I don't review gas stations but this one is pretty new, clean, and large. There's an electric vehicle charging station, diesel, gasoline, and a Dunkin attached. When we went, the drive through was not ready yet but it looks like there will be one. There are restrooms and plenty of snacks and drinks to choose from. They also serve coffee, breakfast, grinders, and ice cream.

They've just been open for two weeks and offered a rock-bottom gas price of just $2.89 a gallon. Oh, and by the way, they have an incredibly sweet number of 16 gas pumps. It was one of my cheapest fill ups in quite a while. After I gassed up, I went inside to check out the store and buy a lottery ticket. Well, they've been open for such a short time they're not quite ready to start pumping out those tickets yet. Their spacious convenience store was neat as a pin and stocked to overflowing, and I saw a Dunkin' counter way off to the left. The young lady at the convenience store register was personable and very friendly when I chatted with her about the place. Noble's website says they are "a Connecticut-based business bringing high-end automobile re-fueling centers to New England". There's a few of them around Hartford and spread across the state. Some have carwashes and EV charging stations, but I think it's too early to see what the Day Hill location will end up with. I saw that Noble is also building a Truck Service and Diesel center pretty much next door at 1966 Day Hill Road. They are a very welcome addition to Day Hill Road and all of its office buildings and commuters.

All of the big boys made sure you paid that Simsbury petrol penalty. But not any more! With the new Cumberland Farms and two new Pride stations dotting Hopmeadow Street from top to bottom, the days of being pillaged at the pump seem to be over. I paid just $2.079 today at this spiffy new Pride station. There is a frequent buyer program to even further reduce your gas expense. The inside is very nice for a convenience store, all sorts of coffee fixings, some decent looking prepared sandwiches, fresh Dunkin Donuts, newspapers, and all the convenience store conveniences. Even the counter folks were pleasant and friendly! I am a definite fan.

He just rolled his eyes and pointed towards the trash. I should have just thrown out the water and kept the bottle. I stopped at the CNBC store to find something to drink. This is your typical airport store, where I hope people will buy what they absolutely need. Here you'll find magazines, books, nuts, candy, phone chargers, Connecticut souvenirs and more. Everything is very overpriced. A cube for your phone charger without the cord is $15. I found a lemon flavored water for $3.99. This was tasty and refreshing and had no sugar. I immediately chugged the whole bottle. The CNBC store at the airport is your typical, airport convenience store.
