Heater is 11 yrs old and living on borrowed time. Called a provider a major player in the area and got a quote which seemed rather high. Then called Palmerio and phone answered by the owner. Explained situation and got a ball park quote which was substantially lower than the major player. When could job be done? Answer....today I'll be over within an hour. Long story short from the time of first contact at 8:30am until new heater installed and running at 12:30 pm Elapsed time 4 hours!!! Can't beat that for service and the price was right. Shortly after each annual maintenance, it coincidentally seems to fails its weekly self-test. One of the receptionists is worthless -- rude and dismissive. It seems as though they are not interested in remedial maintenance -- only new installations and component replacements (no trouble-shooting). The technicians seem incompetent. They charge a ridiculous amount for each visit without a guarantee of repair. One time we had a failure because of mice eating the wires but the technician would not fix it because he was afraid of the mice.
