Christina led me to a small waiting room where she asked for my past medical and dental history. I was given a tour of the very professional patient rooms and labs. I was then introduced to Nina who did my X-rays and then gave me a complete explanation of the results. Nina then did the best and most confortable cleaning I have ever received (believe me, I have had many). I was then introduced to Dr. Sophie Kim who did a comprehensive exam. She than made recommendations which were honest and well suited to my needs. I then checked out with Christina and Kim and went happily on my way. I will definitely return in six months or sooners as needed.

ONE START IS TO HIGH FOR THIS LOCATION…read more DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE! They are the most unprofessional, rude, and uncaring people I have ever dealt with. My son had an emergency two weeks ago when his front tooth chipped. This office took him in, fixed it in less than five minutes, and then pressured me to switch our family of three to their practice, claiming they were faster and more convenient. BIG MISTAKE! Fast forward to today, and the "quick fix" they did completely failed--my son's tooth chipped AGAIN while eating a donut. I called to book an appointment, and he drove an hour and a half from college for his scheduled visit at 11:00 am, only to be told that his appointment was supposedly for Wednesday (it was Monday). When he politely asked if the doctor could see him that day at any time, the receptionist rudely snapped, "NO." I got on the phone myself, explained the urgency, and how he needed to return to school that same day. The receptionist was beyond rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. She kept repeating, "The doctor is busy," and refused to even explain the situation to the doctor. I begged for a solution, but all she offered was to "write my number down" in case of a cancellation, which was useless and delivered in the nastiest tone imaginable. This office does NOT care about their patients or the quality of their work. Their so-called repair didn't even last two weeks, and their customer service is an absolute disgrace. I wish I had read reviews before switching because this place is an unprofessional nightmare. Luckily, I called my previous dentist, explained the situation, and they immediately took care of my son without hesitation. I also reported this horrible experience to my insurance so they won't be getting another dime from us. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY--AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! I have been a patient at Dr. Shyong's office for my whole life (too many years to admit to). My…read morememories start at their old office location (just a few doors down from their current location) and when I was going through my awkward stage of retainers and braces. Dr. Shyong and his staff definitely made the whole process easier. Now at their new and modern location, my main reason to visit is for a teeth cleaning (and a talk about flossing more). The office is very clean, with a larger waiting area (which I rarely have to wait long in). There is a bathroom next to the waiting area, for last minute brushing of the teeth. Their private rooms have a tv on the wall for your viewing pleasure. Even the equipment got an upgrade and is technically advanced. But despite all of the many upgrades from when I was a kid, their kindness and respect has always remained the same. And it's always nice when you are greeted by some of the same familiar faces year after year! In the market for a new dentist? New to the area? Try Dr. Shyong, your teeth will thank you

If there is one review you should read about Dr. Rosenfeld, then this is it! Let's start from the…read morebeginning. He was recommended to me as a great dentist, which unfortunately I won't be able to confirm do to the shady manner in which my first appointments and respective charges were handled. I went in for a consultation that was free of charge but he did refer me to a dentist named Pavone as he said he, himself was not so experienced to do implants. He said I should see him after I see Pavone so we can make a plan as to how we're going to move forward. This Pavone character charged me $150 just to glance at my teeth; I did already have my X-rays and panorex, so his work was already cut out for him, as was Dr. Rosenfeld's. I was changing dentists and had all that they needed to see to give me a rate. Then it was time for me to go to Dr. Rosenfeld for my second visit, after seeing Pavone, to put together a plan as to how they were going to work on my dental implants. I informed him that I didn't wish to have Pavone work on my teeth because I assumed that if ten minutes of his time cost $150, then I would have to spend astronomical figures on the total procedure. While I'm in his office the hygienist walks in and measures my gums. I find out after the fact that this was the detailed extensive oral evaluation, something I did not ask for or need since it had just recently been done by my previous dentist. Most importantly, I had presented him with this information as well; so thinking back, it was totally ludicrous for him to do this and obviously a way to get me to pay for a visit which would have otherwise cost nothing. This took 10 minutes total and on my way out he insisted I did not owe anything for the visit with him. At the front desk, however, I was suddenly told that I owe $186... And that was apparently for the hygienist.. Needless to say, we did not spend a minute planning my implant situation. In fact, I was annoyed that all he did do was talk about another dentist he wanted to send me to for yet another consultation. In retrospect I'm convinced once again that since at the beginning of my visit I had told Rosenfeld that I didn't want to see Pavon, he decided to use that appointment to make some money from me by doing something I did not need!!! I decided to address this with him at some point in the future but while I even had a chance to think about what had happened, ARE YOU READY FOR THIS? I receive a bill from him, in the mail, for an amount of $138. I personally went to his office today to kindly request an explanation.. He didn't have one and I couldn't believe my ears when he said "how much do you wanna pay?" in a very condescending tone. I have zero tolerance for this kind of unprofessionalism and went on to politely inquire as to where this charge was coming from. He said he'll dismiss the $138. I did not get to even address the $186 for the gum measurements, that I did not need, because of the unpleasant manner in which I was dealt with today. How sad that your money can be taken from you in broad daylight and be justified by the fact that you are in a dentist's office. The total of $336 I spent because of Dr. Rosenfeld did not benefit me in any way and least of all gave me an idea for the kind of work he can do on my teeth!!!
