My husband waited a long time to get an appointment because Dr. Dewar was highly recommended. He had entered the appointment on our calendar for the 8th but when the paperwork arrived at our home it indicated his appointment was today, the 9th so we changed the calendar. He arrived today to be treated rudely and told he was there on the wrong date. read more

I've been to Dr. Dewar regularly for about a year and a half, and I've finally had enough of his half-assed medical advice. He has been less than helpful every single time. He would often prescribe medication that would have adverse effects, such as a UTI. I actually had to get advice from another doctor and had to tell Dr Dewar so that I could get the proper medication. But the last straw was when I had UTI symptoms and I had to see the nurse. There was literally blood in my urine and when she came back from testing it, she said there was no sign of infection and they would not prescribe antibiotics for me. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I know what a UTI feels like and was not going to let it get worse. I went to a gynecologist and they not only confirmed I had an infection, but it had made it to my kidneys!! This place is absolutely careless of your well being; Dr. Dewar needs to retire. read more

It was a long process to finally get to see him but once I was a patient, I thought he did his best to listen to what I wanted. He recommended breaking up the stones with sonic waves but because I would have to wait weeks for the equipment to be available and I was in a lot of pain, I requested surgical removal instead and he agreed. The process was horrible but I don't blame him for much of that. I was in a lot of pain. I thought he was efficient and professional for the most part but he did go on vacation when I was to have my stint removed, which caused me to almost have to go to the ER but because I was in such a precarious situation, my husband ended up having to remove the stint. That is definitely an experience we will never forget. I appreciated Dr. Yasar telling me my referral was good for three years as it gave me a sense of relief... unfortunately he seems to have left soon after and I will be back to square one if I have any more problems.

I was very grateful to have him as my surgeon. Unfortunately, my experience with the scheduling staff was very different. The scheduler, Debra, was consistently rude and dismissive during my interactions with her. I often felt belittled and uncomfortable when communicating with her, which added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. In fact, I began bringing my husband to appointments so he could witness these interactions firsthand. We did a video chat the first time I met her and she genuinely cared for me and what I was going through. She answered all my questions and put all my worries at ease. She talked to my husband and I pre surgery and was a great listener. I had only two visits with her and both were the same. The one thing I went to see her about had nothing at all to do with depression. I am not depressed and never have had any problems with being depressed but she was pushing her hardest to get me to take depression meds anyway. I told her no but she kept insisting. Depression medicine is for depression not for a patient that is not depressed what so ever. If you are looking for a doctor that you will be happy with she it not it.

(Both the doctor and the staff were advised of the allergy.) Six hours later we called back to ask what was going on, and were met with piss poor apologies and Web MD sorts of recommendations. If you are going to go here, be sure to brush up on your pharmaceutical knowledge, and gird up your loins when you speak with the disinterested staff. Good luck!

He takes everything seriously and genuinely listens. Just recently, he personally called me twice (on a Saturday) in one day after reviewing urgent bloodwork for my son. That kind of follow-up and compassion is rare. He always goes above and beyond for my kids and never brushes anything off. The girls in the office are just as wonderful, so sweet, caring, and helpful. It's truly an overall great place, and we're so grateful to have a doctor who cares this much.

I injured my shoulder and it took three weeks to get an appointment which isn't bad. Dr cash…read moreexamined me and believed I had torn something in my right shoulder. He said he would order an MRI and find out how bad it was. Now, understand that I was in a great deal of pain. After 1 1/2 weeks I called radiology to get an appointment. They told me they never received an order for an MRI. Here's where the total incompetence of Dr Cash's staff came to light. I called on Monday to get some answers and got a recording that they return calls within 24-48 hours so I left a message. I called Tuesday and left a message. I called Wednesday and left a message. I called Thursday and left a message. Finally I kept trying differed extensions and a office clerk answered. I was told that the MRI order was sent in that day! Two weeks just to have the order sent in! I demanded to speak to a supervisor. The office manager went through all the excuses about how busy they are, which were pathetic excuses for not getting any return calls, and for the delay in having the order sent in. She assured me that the order was now sent in. So, I call Radiology back and they tell me they have the order, but Dr Cash did not get insurance approval so it will take another two weeks before I can even make an appointment for the MRI. I like Dr Cash, and have seen him in the past, but his office staff is completely incompetent!
