Hello Neighbors, I don't usually exude negativity on a…read morecompany. However, due to multiple issues with our roof on different occasions I must speak on it now. We used a company that has been around since 1968 doing everything for a home from remodeling to building. Our roof was done by them about 7-8 years ago. During that time we had issues of leakage in the sunroom and living room, shingles came off from light wind and last night was the worst. All other neighbors didn't have that used another company. Based on this experience, I DO NOT recommend using Weather Tek in Dunellen, NJ. I hope they don't have any involvement in the new complex being built near the Dunellen train station. If they do, run!! You don't need the headache.

Kenny and his team first did my downstairs bathroom - the video won't load, so maybe I'll get a pic later. (work was done last year) Then they fixed my AC this summer - brand new unit, condenser and whatever's up in the attic. I'm calling on them for the little fixes as well, kitchen, bathroom - I need upgrades...they are reasonable, honest (already-mentioned), and they or his team will come back immediately if anything is unsatisfactory or not to my liking...and fix it. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I recently found out they also have been doing work with my brother-in-law - keeping it in the family! And that's what this team is to me now, family.

We initially used them for a project where we removed multiple walls, including a load-bearing exterior wall, and installed a 20-foot accordion door. It was a unique job, and they handled everything from installing the 900 lb. steel beam to hanging a wallpaper mural that required exact precision. And on the few things they had to sub out, like electrical, they brought in fairly priced, excellent subcontractors that we had great experiences with. On top of that, the guys at Legacy are punctual, professional, and just great people. There are a million small decisions to make during the process, and they always consulted us, but had very solid recommendations--whether it was how to handle unexpected issues that didn't show up in the architect's schematics or design elements like trim styles and shades of stain. They provided the best bid we received, stayed on budget, and completed the project ahead of time. I can't say enough good things about them. In a matter of weeks, they transformed our home, while minimizing the impact to our daily lives. We've since used them for smaller maintenance projects and are about to engage them for multiple other larger projects. We'll never look for another contractor again!

Five stars is not enough for Legacy Contracting ! I couldn't have asked for a better experience…read moreand couldn't believe the detail and pride they put into their work, it was refreshing to see. We hired Legacy for a full Kitchen Remodel, and we couldn't be happier with the job they did. We had met with several Kitchen and Bath Re-modelers, but the moment Dave and Matt walked into the house we knew they were the ones. Dave walked around the house and just noticed things everyone else (including myself) had missed. He offered advice and said "We'll fix that" to several little things I never even noticed. .We just hoped his bid would not come in too high. We were delighted when they came in at a very fair price. Not the lowest, but well under the highest, we booked them on the spot. On day 1, the crew showed up, and we immediately noticed that everyone that walked through our door was pleasant, thoughtful and meticulous about the jobs they were performing. Our job entailed moving walls, replacing exterior doors on top of the usual demo and cabinet install. The crew worked faster than I ever imagined. Demo was done in a day. The door was out, walls were taken down and parts of the kitchen were taken to the studs. By the second week cabinets were in and countertops were installed. As they were working on the kitchen we kept making the job a little bigger. Asking to redo floors in all the rooms downstairs, and while you're at it please paint the whole first floor as well. They handled all our requests with professionalism and courtesy. Dave always came back within a few days with a very fair quote. He was also very thoughtful about helping us to think through our requests. Whereas some contractors would be happy to take your money and do the work, Matt and Dave actually pointed out what I would actually gain for the money I would be spending. I would often ask their thoughts on whether or not something was worth doing and they would give me their honest opinion. Where most contractors told me I was looking at 8 weeks they have finished everything they promised me in just under 6 weeks and then pointed out I have some credits coming back to me. It has been a pleasure dealing with Matt and Dave, as well as their crew. I couldn't recommend them more. Thanks for a job well done and the beautiful kitchen my whole family and I will enjoy for years.

I wish I could give 6 stars, because Sam's Construction and Renovation is in a class by itself! I…read morehired Sam and his team to renovate my master bedroom suite. The scope of the project was a planned remodeling of my master bedroom and master retreat which included new flooring throughout, new lighting fixtures, painting, and installation of a new electric linear fireplace. I was impressed by Sam on our initial phone communications- he was extremely professional and offered many suggestions that we ultimately included in the final project. After we signed the contract, he started work on the exact day that he had promised, and he and his team worked every day until it was completed. They actually finished a bit earlier than stated on the contract! Each of Sam's workers were very respectful of my property, and always left the work area very clean. Throughout the process, Sam showed a particular attention to detail that I truly appreciated. He has a good eye for color, and helped me to pick out colors for my walls, flooring and fireplace tile that really complement each other. Sam and his team constructed a wall length framing for the fireplace that truly exceeded my expectations. The finished product is simply breathtaking! Sam and his team will be returning after the holidays for the 2nd phase of the project, which will transform the master retreat into a custom designed walk in closet. I am certainly looking forward to working with Sam again!

Thiago and his team completed a 2 bathroom project; they added a bathroom and renovated another bathroom. Thiago was great about communicating next steps, taking all of our questions and providing suggestions. I was concerned at the potentially high cost and worried about the quality of the contractors that would do the job. But, my wife went ahead anyway with a recommendation from Home Depot. To my surprise, the work done was beautiful! The workmen were diligent and almost worked around the clock. The facade was beautifully done and the tiles chosen for the exterior stairs looked great. So, a house built around 1910 looked good as new! The nicest thing, from my perspective, was having an honest, respectful, collaborative foreman doing the job.
